After a couple of lackluster efforts (when compared to past God Of War games) the series is taken in a new direction that works extremely well. One of the must own games if you have a PS4.

Any God of War fan needs this! Any game fan needs this! Sony has truly knocked this out of the park! Great story, beautiful graphics, and a lengthy play time. Parents, this is a game that any youngster would love.

game feels similar to the other GoW titles, but new and fresh and improved. Good story, good action, good game overall. highly recommend, even if you haven't played prior GoW titles.

This game is great. It has a lot of side missions to allow your character to level up, and short puzzles along with loads of action. And it also has a pretty cool story line (father/son). I would highly recommend.

Like most everyone else who loves this game it truly is amazing. This is by far the most beautiful game I've ever played. The narrative is fantastic and the gameplay and story is well thought out. Worth the money!

I’ve never played GOW but this game is everything I hoped it would be. The Single player is lengthy and packed with adventure and there are so many things to do. The graphics are some of the best I’ve seen on ps4pro,the detail is amazing and I love how the camera used throughout the gameplay never changes and cutscenes are inter fused seemlessly, which leads to an overall immersive experience. The Audio is awesome as well, from the characters themselves to the music and action packed fighting , u feel the impact of the sound everywhere. Overall I’m very happy with this release! If you like adventure and story driven games with tons of action and massive boss battles this game is for you.

I love this game. I've gotten over 100+ hours just exploring and fighting and it never gets old. Not too hard too 100% and has excellent difficulty choices for Beginners to Hardcore gamers

I have never played the previous GoW games, but I was recommended this game based on the story alone and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. Gameplay is smooth and the story is amazing.

This was one the best games I have played. The graphics were unbelievable, and story was outstanding. I am not a big fan of multi player, so enjoy a good single player campaign.

My God-ness this is just a masterpiece! Silly puns aside, you HAVE to play this game. If you love single player semi-open world games, God of War fits the bill. The story is surprisingly deep and heartfelt, and I can’t wait for part 2 (which should be released sometime in late 2021 fingers-crossed). Combat mechanics are top notch as well. Even long after completing the story I find myself coming back for more, whether it is a New Game+ or to finish all the side missions. This game turned me into a completionist. Santa Monica studios bravo! Why are you still reading? Go pick it up now and become Kratos, boy.

One of the best games of the year and biggest surprises in recent memory. Obviously this was going to be a technically competent game, but the level of maturity ion the story blew me away. Ton of fun too.

A welcome and much needed change to the series. The new features and setting truly helps to wash away what felt like a stale formula for the series and is easily one of the best games released this year.

This is a good game. The gameplay is amazing and has an emotional and compelling storyline with a great use of Norse mythology. Great grab for PS4/PS5 owners.

A great single player game. Caution to parents: They swear a bit in the game. Overall a great father son dynamic to the gameplay. Loads of stuff to do and see. The story is engaging 50 plus hours of game play.

This is a very solid game. Deserving of it's awards. I was afraid the dynamic change would leave this game stale from the older ones but it holds it ground. Combat is fun and You will hear lots of boy!

I had to switch the difficulty to "Story Mode" midgame because of how hard it it. Great graphics and compelling story, even if it is kinda on the rails and not an open world.

Fantastic game. Great combination of action and platforming. The story pulls you in keeps you invested in the characters. The post game content is worth doing as well.

Great graphics, great story and some excellent combat that takes some getting used to if you haven’t really messed with a combat system like this.

Kratos and the boy embark on an awesome journey. Dads will love this one, hits different after having my own kids.
