Great story and the graphics are beautiful even for its age

I wish I played this game when it was released back in 2018. This game is amazing. The gameplay and story of this video game are really good.

I love GOW series and this installment has been the most cinematic yet. Fun to play fin to explore its world, great story line and awesome to play alone or with friends watching.

This is the reason why I bought a PS4. The game itself is worth the port to PS4 from XBOX1. The graphic is to die for and the storyline is refreshing. It's a must buy for any PS4 owner.

Excellent upgrade in the God of War saga. Controls take a little getting used to. Wonderful graphics and difficulty is often high, but not enough to be overly frustrating.

I love the changes they’ve made to the dynamic of the game. It’s a breath of fresh air. It is a lot different than the old button mashing GOW games. Action packed awesome story also.

This is by far the most engrossing and interesting PS4 game with a story driven narrative I've played yet. I am constantly interesting in the mythology and dialogue sequences about this game and I rarely feel as if I run into a scenario where I have to look up how to do something as the game naturally leads you towards solving various puzzles and challenges. Although not open world, I think I prefer a non-open world approach to help maintain focus on the story and keep the progression simple. (A problem I had with Horizon Zero Dawn and Fallout 4) The combat system is incredible and 25+ hours in, I am still floored to engage in even minor enemy combat.

Best deal and game ever. Plenty of action and story. Worth every penny. Doesn't include any manual or brochure but who needs them nowadays?

This game has a very realistic feel even though it's based in ancient times it has great gameplay and a great story and I just love anything that goes with RPG'S

Excellent continuation of Kratos' story. Worth playing even if you hated the previous games. Gameplay completed rebooted and a meaningful story makes this well worth playing!

God of War is an amazing reimagining for the series and a perfect soft-reboot just when the series needed it. After a long series of action games, the standard GOW formula was getting sort of tiresome. But this new game? WOW. First off visually, it's amazing. The game never cuts its camera shot on the entire game stays in one continuous shot. It sounds like a simple thing, but in execution it's extremely unique and gives the game a special feel to it. Combat-wise, it's much more open and setting-wise, it's huge. This is also a game that deserves to be played on a 4K TV and PS4 Pro and really justifies the upgrade. I'd recommend this 100% to any gamer.
