It was a decent enough game One of the biggest advantages this game had was that anytime I failed anything whether it was a challenge or a boss I could at least look at it and figure out what went wrong (wrong move, upgrades needed, etc). The good Fighting is a bit of a change but not hard to adapt to after changing the control scheme to I think it was called "classic". Story is decent enough for what it is The time traveling doesn't feel like a total waste due to certain details being given in conversation The bad Too many meaningless collectibles (ravens/artifacts mostly). Enjoyed the lore though.

I've played since PlayStation 1 version. They get better and better every time. You won't regret your purchase. The hype is real. Puzzles and combat galore

I've played past God of War games and was never really that impressed or drawn in. This game changed all of that. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Such an expansive world and so much to do. Do yourself a favor and go get this now if you haven't already.

Amazing reboot. The story, setting, new weapon, everything adds up to this masterpiece

I mean, who doesn't want to take down a pantheon of deities? New to the franchise because I normally game on PC, it was a great introduction to the franchise albeit a bit late. I look forward to playing the rest of the games.

A wonderful addition to the GOW saga. The visuals and plot were superb, and the gameplay was an entertaining experience. Highly recommend.

Fun & immersive, engaging gameplay, beautiful graphics

They reinvented GOW and it was the best decision to make. Love the world, love Kratos and Atreus and you see how their relationship grows throughout the game. Can't wait for the sequel.

Great game with great graphics and sound. Played the whole game multiple times because once wasn't enough. Only if every game looked and sounded as good as this.

They really did great on the graphics in this game. There are also some emotional and humorous moments that make the game entertaining. Better graphics than Horizon.

I’ve played all God of War games and it’s my favorite series. All I can say is GOW is GOTY for 2018. This is what we get when a team puts their all into a game

I was never a huge fan of the original Good of War games. They started good but I got bored pretty quick. This game is just what the series needed.

I had a hard time putting down the controller long enough to write this review. Do yourself a favor and go in blind, you will not regret it.

Absolute fun and beautiful gameplay. Great replay value and easy to pick up and play.

My kids gave this to their dad as a Father's Day gift. He played it and enjoyed, said it was one of the better ones of the series.

God of war is a must buy! So many things to do in this game and the quality is beyond amazing. You won't regret purchasing it.

I enjoyed the story, but the fighting style mechanics are not my favorite. Overall a cool game.

Took awhile for me to get used to the new fight mechanics, but once I did, I was unstoppable. Kratos would destroy Thanos.

Do not pass this up if you have a PS4, and if you don't have a PS4 buy one for this game, it's that good.
