God of War III was one of my favorite games when I was younger, so it was a no brainer to purchase this game. The story line and the graphics are amazing.

Easily the most fun game I've played since Horizon: Zero Dawn. 10/10, unexpectly great story with unexpected character depth in Kratos. Game of the Year canidate.

The visuals in the game are just breath taking. The amount of content to this game is just incredible. You can just do the bare minimum and it will still take several hours to complete. By the time you add in the optionals and collectibles and upgrades you are easily looking at at least 30 hours of game play. This game is a great open world experience that still keeps you tied to the story with the conversations while traveling that makes it feel like you never venture from the story even when doing optional quests. This is just such an immersive experience that is great to the end.

Gameplay is great, the story of Kratos and Atreus is well told and paced. Replay value of the game is the hook for anyone looking to purchase this game.

God of war is amazing I didn't want to stop playing and especially when it ended. The game was so smooth and it had awesome gameplay and the story was excellent.

Graphics are cool. My son enjoyed this game and loved the story line. He said he will be playing this one often.

Excellent graphics and story and voice acting. I love Christopher Judge (from the TV show Stargate SG1) who does the voice acting for the main character.

God of War is a series very close to me, I grew up with the original trilogy of games and I love them for their over the top combat with fun abilities gained over time and gory QTES. This entry has some of that, but the QTES have been toned down and there is less gore, and the combat has been completely changed the combo system is gone and its more slow paced with shield and dodge rolls very similar to Dark Souls. It is also not a linear story anymore, its an open world with Sidequests, extra fights, treasure hunts, and there is a new weapons and armor upgrade shop similar to most open world RPGS or open world games like Assassins Creed/Far Cry. You also have Kratos son with you through the entire game so youll get alot more dialogue and alot of puzzle solving in areas such as boosting him up to ledges or having him shoot switches with his arrows. So think very similar to The Last of Us except he is more useful in combat. Alot of critics and people alike love these changes, me as a hardcore fan of the series i'm indifferent. There are so many "open world" games that follow the same structure that I think turning this series into just another variation of that is a bit sad. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed the game alot and if youre at all curious you should try it. Then I recommend picking up the PS4 Remaster of God of War 3 and you can determine if you prefer the old style or the new style.

grabbed it on sale for 10. played all the previous God Of Wars. very late to playing this one but at 10 dollars i got it at the right time.

I've played every God of War game released, and I have so day I have been incredibly happy with this game so far. Story is very engaging and gameplay is fun.

God of War 4 really is a visually stunning game with an amazing story. I recommend to any adult that doesnt mind a little gore. It stays true to the franchise.

Played through this game so fast, but not because it was too easy! The storytelling is completely different from the previous games - a complete overhaul in terms of character development, relationship dynamics, script, all of it. The graphics are absolutely stunning. Top notch. The gameplay is some of the most entertaining for a game of this genre, mixing enough RPG elements to add depth and character building interest, but never losing it's hack and slash roots. An instant favorite.

I was initially skeptical of how this sequel would pan out but have been amazed. The graphics are fantastic, along with the combat and the story so far! Buy it!

This game was very well done. The story is very well written. The combat and puzzles were very fun. If you have access to a PS4 you should give this game a try.
