The return of God of War is different than previous games but that isn’t bad. The story is great and combat is fun.

As a long time fan of the series, I was looking forward to this latest adventure. This time it's a huge change of pace. Kratos' world is ever expanded with more of an open world to explore and discover. There's a huge change from the combo hit building action of its predecessors to challenges that need proper strategy and skill to complete. One of the main highlights is the interaction between Kratos and his son throughout the quest. The narrative here is superb. I can't praise this game highly enough. I thoroughly recommend this game.

I never cared for the series in the past but I have to give credit to the team for creating a masterpiece in every aspect. The way they portrayed the father son relationship has not been done in gaming before and it is brilliant. The game may seem a little linear at first but don't let that discourage you as it opens up later. The gameplay is a hack and slash with RPG elements and the pace of combat is certainly slower than traditional GoW but for the better. 4k upscaled resolution and HDR is among the best I've seen even compared to PC.

Excellent graphics. Cool story line. Gameplay POV is very intuitive. Puzzles are challenging. You can not go wrong with this game!

If you're a fan of Kratos or even video games I'm general, definitely worth picking this one up. This game has some of the best combat out there and one of the best stories. Definitely worth buying a PS4 just for this game, this game is a system seller. If you already have a PS4 then absolutely get it! You will not regret it!

It's not the god of war i grew up but its totally ok because Santa Monica studios nailed it so hard, one of the best games this year so far.

I was a bit skeptical at first since this seemed like a change from the God Of War games I know and loved. I was right but I also didn't know I was ready for that change. This is a mature Kratos for a more mature gamer. This feels like he has grown up much the same way we have. Don't get it wrong everything you like about GOW is here just in different amounts. It's sort of like a recipe, all the ingredients are there just mixed up differently. Take a leap if you haven't and give the new Kratos a chance I guarantee you will not be mad.

If you're on the fence about getting this game, definitely get it. I'm a very picky gamer and I tend to think most games are just okay or good old fun. I tend to speedrun games by accident and I hate how games are too easy, even on the hardest mode. This is an exception! God of War is great and has a pretty good storyline. The beginning is a touch slow but still interesting. But once you get into the middle of the game, you get to see walls between Kratos fall down. Good character development but you'll just have to see for yourself!

This game not only has incredible gameplay, but gorgeous visuals, and a fantastic story. Sound design is great as well. Highly recommended

The story line is awesome some changes were made compared to the old god of war games but with alil adjusting game play is actually better
