Amazing game with one of the best story lines ever! So much to do in this game! Best PS4 game I've played in a while!

This was a great way to reboot God of War for a new generation of gamers and consoles.

Amazing reboot gamen of the year/generation from Sony. Story graphics and gameplay are all outstanding.

Been a fan of the God of War series, since the original trilogy (PS2 - PS3). When I first heard the dormant series was getting a reboot, I was unsure with how'd that turn out. Considering how God of War 3 ended, back on the PlayStation 3. Fortunately that uncertainty was put to rest, as Kratos is back and rejuvenated in this soft reboot of this series. Thoroughly enjoyed this game, and can't wait until God of War 5.

This game took a Solid foundation and mordsenized the series. Think Last of Us meets Arkham series, with a god like premise. You no longer fear the Greek gods in exchange, the Norse gods and myths are the foundation of the story. I’m only 10 hours in and I’m literally thinking of how I want my second play through to be like based of the Intuitive stream lined combat and rpg leveling system makes me want to focus on different stats the 2nd time round. This is game of the year!

It's like Kratos meets Zelda the story is amazing and funny and the combat is brutal and fun game of the year.

Beat every God of War when I was younger so I had to get this one. Phenomenal visuals and an awesome story.

I expected it to be a good game, but I was blown away! Starts off slow, but much deeper than previous god of wars!

Great game! Definitely different from the previous titles. I will say tho its still a must play game in my opinion!

I don't generally say must plays but Hands down potential game of the year! Other contending in my book is Red Dead Redemption. Now there is a lot of side things to do in this unique game. It's really deep too if you get into crafting and take on all the Valkyries. So if you haven't picked this baby up you should! FYI you don't have to know the prior God of Wars to jump in... this is more of a reboot than the said God of War 4 you see it called on the internet.

This game is a must play, with some of the best graphics, action and cutscenes of this generation!

My kids love playing this with their dad. It makes them think and hunt for objects to continue on.

GoD never fails to be fun with an engaging story. And this time in no different and with fantastic graphics to boot.

Took me back to the original trilogy. The story was put together well and the gameplay was very smooth. I loved it!

Difficult at times, but worth it! Not Bloodbourne difficult...not even close. Just challenging at times. Great game!

One of the most immersive PS4 games I have played. Graphics are outstanding and the story-line is well written.

I was a little skeptical at first but after getting the game and only wanting to play for an hour, I ended up playing for the entire day... Do not get if you have finals or something important to do. This will take all of your time and you will get sucked in to this amazing story and adventure. If you have played the Last of Us, God of War is essentially the same , just a different world and genre but still told in such an intricate and captivating way. The hype was real.

Purchased for Grandson as a reward for his scholastic achievement. He plays this continually with his friends.
