Great new take on a familiar character. God of War has an engaging story and awesome third person action.

Playing this on a PS4 Pro on a LG OLED will provide the best experience. My goodness, this is incredible.

I have not been so impressed with a game in a very long time. Not only is the story telling amazing, but the gameplay is unbelievable as well. They did such a great job taking a beloved series and changing so many of the mechanics...while still making it feel like a God of War game. The combat was fun yet challenging, and the world keeps pulling you in, even after the credits roll. I will recommend this game to every single person I know. 15/10

This game has exceded my expectations, graphics are great, game play has improved since GOW 1 and 2. There was a surprisingly epic fight pretty soon after starting, it had my attention after that. Moreover I know I sound like i am suggestive selling over here but remember if you have gamer's club and pre order your games you receive two 2 discounts, the percentage off and the gift card. Why pay full price you end up baying much less do the math.

When this game was first announced, I was immediately turned off. It looked like it was taking a series that I didn't much care for (Was always more DMC than GOW) and turning it into a genre I don't like today (AAA Sony cinematic games). After getting some good word from some buddies, I bought it and BOY did my opinion do a complete 180. Unless something else surprises me, the only other competition this game could have this year is KH3.

Despite having never played God of War before it was easy to follow along with the story and understand what was going on. This game is, in my opinion, one of the greatest story-based games I’ve ever seen. It has the perfect mix of action and storytelling, with the emotional beats not forced and the type of gameplay that is deceivingly easy to play but difficult to master. Would absolutely recommend.

This is not the God of War you have played and played again. This isn't Kratos at his best, this isn't just another pretty build of the same thing we saw in the last 3 games. This is a whole different feel, new mechanics, a son who shoots arrows. This game will be polarizing, some will love the newness, others will hate that it isn't just like the last one with better graphics, this is definitely the next evolution of the game and I like it.
