Having never played any of the Gods of War Games before and not really being a PlayStation fan I wasn't overly optimistic about how much I would enjoy this game, but I found every aspect of the game to be quite entertaining. The strategy and puzzle solving aspect of the game are a nice reprieve from the story and the hack and slash aspects of the game. Probably the best game start to finish that I have played in a while.

THIS GAME IS THE GAME. Not only is it visually stunning it is an amazing play through as well. Just like other GOW games it holds true to the mythology surrounding the gods and provides us with HOURS of entertainment. I literally don't want to sleep, don't want to eat, don't want to work all I want to do is play GOD OF WAR. I am having trouble focusing now to fill this form out. This game guys, oh my gosh just go buy it.

God of War is one of the best games I have ever played. The game is beautiful, emotionally complex, explores the dynamic between father and son in a moving way, and contains exciting and challenging combat which is fierce and extremely fun. One does not need to play any of the previous games in the series to enjoy this game, it is a beautiful addition to the series which is easily accessible for anyone new to the series.

Good game, awesome graphics and good story. Still a bit of hack and slash. but no reply value for me.. I tried playing through the second time and stopped towards the middle. Might be a good game to play again at a later time when you’ve forgotten the games plot and story.

As someone who was never a fan of the original games I went into this with low expectations but am amazed at how great it turned out to be. The graphics are stunning on a 4K hdr capable display and the actual combat feels very fluid and satisfying. My main gripe would be the whole son aspect but I suppose that was the point of the narrative reboot to make Kratos a more complex character.

The story is so detailed and engaging. The combat is very fun. I cant wait for a sequel.

One of the greatest and most gorgeous games I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I love the God of War games not only for the action, but I'm truly fascinated by the depth of story telling. The atmosphere of each level is meticulously designed, and its so interesting to learn more about Viking traditions and beliefs. Love this game! Must buy!

There is much to talk about concerning this game. My main thing to make sure everyone knows is that this is not like the previous games in the series and is a story worth living. Last of Us is unique in the sense that few titles have ever let you feel that weight, God of War succeeds in much the same way. Personally the rpg elements present and compact story make this a much more personal story. Must play for gamers.
