The story is a magnificent compelling attribute to an already perfect game, the story draws you in by constantly keeping you on a train of cliff hangers and systems where it make you want to unlock other plots advancing the story, all the while making each and every advancement into the plot as fresh as the previous one

I haven't played god of war before, but I was amazed at the experience. I'm not a huge press a bunch of buttons expert gamer. But, this game has different levels of play, and the story and views of the game are totally awesome. I usually reserve high ratings for GTA or Red Dead Redemption.........but I'd give this one a perfect score! I may go back and play the previous ones now.

This game is so detailed and jumps right in when you start it. It is immediately challenging and feels as though you are building Cratos up as you continue to play. The game play is completely different from the previous God of War games, as a note, and the attention to detail in the graphics and sequences is evident. Great game to try out, especially if you love the God of War series.

At first I was skeptical when I saw the previews of the game. How could the game translate from a fixed perspective action game to an over the shoulder game? Well they pulled it off, combat is fast and fluid, and incredibly satisfying. The change from Greek to Norse setting was pulled off very well and sets the path toward corn the series. Looking forward to the sequel.

I must say this is a great god of war game for the ps4 console. Must play game of all time and definitely lives up to the hype. This is a whole new level and new experiences in todays gaming. The graphics are awesome on the pro with a 4k hdr tv. Overall, i never play a single god of war game but this one made me look into the older god of war games to understand where kratos was from.

This game is fantastic. A great story with interesting and challenging combat.

Well, they call it a soft reboot but this is the playstation game that made me buy a PS4. This series had always been one that I enjoyed playing, it's essentially a beat em up game with awesome graphics and incredibly looking set pieces. It took me a while to get used to the over the shoulder compared to the previous series but it made the ps4 purchase during days of play worth it.

Gripping story and amazing gameplay, what else is there to ask for?

God of War games are well known by now and there is nothing more I can say about this game that has not already been said by other reviewers. It is a great game that builds on the same mechanics as the previous ones in the series, and it continues with the same epic storytelling that we have come to expect from GOW.

The game looks awesome. It's one of those games you can play, stop, and play it another day. No micro-transactions. The characters are interesting throughout the game. If you like single player games, then this is a must buy. You don't have to play the previous games to enjoy this one. My favorite part is throwing the axe and calling it back while fighting enemies. It is worth a buy.
