The gameplay is awesome. Join Kratos as you learn about the Viking Gods. I was worried about Kratos fitting in but he fits out. My personal favorite God of war is God of War 2 but this game rocks

So far I like it. Its hard to get used to the controls because its easy to lose track of enemies in this third person view but its more challenging and realistic that way. Basically, buy this game now. You will not be disappointed.

This is a great game. It will go down at as one the games that everyone has to play at least once. The only complaint I have about this game which is I am not a fan of the camera being so close. It takes come getting some used to.

I gave this as a gift to my husband. He is a huge fan of the game series. I’ve been watching him play and he completely loves it. As do I! The graphics are amazing and there’s tons of game play! Great buy if your a hardcore gamer!

Definitely one of the best games of 2018, expanding on one of Sony's most beloved franchises and boy did they do it right. Gameplay is still gory and impactful, however it is a much different game than the trilogies in a good way.

This is definitely a welcome return to a beloved franchise. Playing through, you really get a feel for the old aspects that made the series good and new aspects that will take it into the future

Amazing game. As a reference of how good it is I would say it is tied with horizon as the second best ps4 game. Both right behind Bloodborne. Best graphics Make sure to play with the volume up

Pretty fun, I like the open world concept they tried with the game. The Norse Mythos is awesome, but I wish you got to fight more of the known gods. Overall pretty fun game that keeps the God of War core game play and adds to it.

God of war has always been a classic since its first release on ps2. This game has amazing fight scenes, combat controls and an amazing open world type of map. Keep your god of war saga going with this amazing addition

First GoW game and I loved it. Had seen a number of videos, but loved the story and mythology twist. Fun game overall.

This game had me spending hours playing, trying to explore every nook and cranny to achieve 100%. It had many challenges, a great storyline, and interesting characters. One of the best games of the year. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It's a bit of a surprise for fans of the series how much depth of character Kratos has gained. His interactions with his son are poignant, and the new battle system grows into itself well after a while. Highly recommend.

The game is a must own for GOW fans. It's an awesome game and looks great. Running on ps4 slim with a 4k TV and I'm impressed, can't even fathom how great it must look on a pro with a fully capable HDR TV. It's a beautiful game.

Awesome story and the “moments” in this game(you’ll know when you get there) are just something else. Not to mention the game is beautiful. This was a great way to bring back God of War, this franchise will be incredible.

...Beat this game and the entire experience was sheer fun. It’s a 3rd person action adventure game that looks amazing. I hear it’s a different take on the previous god of war formulas but that it’s a way better game for it.

It's a big change in game play from the other God of War games so I was scared that I wouldn't like it, but it is done very well and I very much like it. It's kind of cool getting a new set of mythological Gods and creatures too

This game is just fantastic. It plays a lot differently from the original GoW games and I think it was a good change. I’ll add that playing this game is very interesting with the perspective of a young father. Fascinating game!

I wish I could emphasize this enough... I took the word of mouth so seriously about this game I sold my Xbox and every game just to get a PS4 Pro.... by far my favorite game I’ve ever played. Do it.

I haven't played any of the previous God of War games before, but you don't need to to play this one. Maybe to understand things more, but you can just watch videos on that. This game was amazing, one of the best out on PS4.

This is a different take on the god of war series, but in my opinion this is one of the best!! You will fall in love with the story and the characters and will enjoy it start to finish. Game of the Year candidate for me.
