My friend talked me into it. And i love it, very challenging, long and good story game. Haven’t finished it yet but love it so far. Not to mention I haven’t played the old ones.

An absolute must have for any God of War Fan or any Video Game fan for that matter. Graphics are insane and game play is magnificent...once you get used to controls if you're used to old school GOW controls.

As a fan who played the original 3 games and one prequel, I was a bit skeptical about the gameplay change. But boy was I wrong. This game has so to explore and the story is great. A must buy if you have PS4

First time playing a God Of War game. I enjoyed it. Good story,gameplay and great graphics.

Great game and gameplay but it was a different style then the other GoW games. Once you get the hang of it, it is loads of fun! But, regardless of skill level, it's more challenging then the other early on.

I’ve been wanting to own this game for years because of what my colleagues said about it and when I finally did all I can say is it really lived up to the hype

This has to be one of the best games ever made for Playstation 4. I would say there are only a handful of games better than this in this console generation

Bought it for my boyfriend. He’s says The story is a big step up. The difficulty on hard mode is unbalanced because the characters is far too weak as opposed to the past series which was hard but fair.

This is top notch quality. The game looks out of this world! And the gameplay is amazing! Perfect time to jump into God of War if you've never have. I think anyone could have an amazing time with this game.

One of my favorite games ever. The scale is fitting for the god that Kratos is, with massive enemies and story twists. The HDR is also produces some of the most vibrant colors I’ve seen on a television.

This is the first GoW game I’ve played and it is absolutely breathtaking. Graphics and frame rate are second to none. Story is great. Doesn’t have to play previous games to understand story. Enjoying this!

I got this game on black friday for only $15. I don't play much god of war series, but at this price I had to get it. The game is actually very good. Has lot of play value.

God of War is a true masterpiece that not only complements the old titles with a bridging story but allows newcomers to enjoy with its new third-person combat. You own a PS4, you must play this game.

At first before it was released. I was a bit afraid that it won't be good as the old games... But wow! This game is freakin' amazing! Story behind Kratos and his son makes it even better. Game of the year.

It definitely deserves the GOTY award in 2018. God of War reignited my interest in the series, and to a broader extent, video games in general. Conquering its "Give me God of War" mode is one of the most rewarding experience in gaming. I appreciate this game so much that I just ordered the Collector's Edition for Christmas, and will give away my standard copy to a friend so he could enjoy this masterpiece of a game too. By the way I think moving from Greek to Norse mythology is well timed too, due to recent rise in popularity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, many younger audiences are being introduced to Asgard. If you own a PS4 and haven't played this, you are missing out!

A lot of things can be said about this game, a return to form for the franchise and even then it propels it to new heights. Top notch in pretty much all aspects. Buy this game, you won't regret it.

I have been a long time fan of this franchise, one of my main selling points for a PlayStation console. So far this game is excellent, the graphics, and depth of the game is amazing. Truly one of the best.
