Way better than expected. Graphics are incredible, but the gameplay is really entertaining. The fighting scenes with the boy helps to distract the enemy. Had reservation but this is really fun.

It definitely is the most overrated game this year. It's a solid, great looking action game featuring Kratos from the God of Wars IP. It's not a God of War game. Still worth playing and good fun

Definitely a big hit game. The story was so intense and engaging, it difficult to put the controller down. No regrets to purchasing this game at all.

Don't bother renting this game from RipoffBox. You will need time to play this game. Every minute is enjoyable. Combat is realistic and overall gameplay is solid. Finally a decent game to play!

HOLY COW... this game surprised me in so many ways! 3rd-person, over-the-shoulder, Action/Adventure game with the backdrop setting of Norse mythology. A MUST play!

The third game I got along with FF7 and Spider-Man...its the voice of Teal'c from SG-1....of course I'm gonna buy it. Also yea the game is good.

Kids came town for the holidays and I wanted to get a game I grew up with. Great game! Great storyline. Great inexpensive game to waste some time on.

This game is amazing! Nothing like the previous God of War games at all. The open world, fighting mechanics, and story are really well done. And there is plenty to do after you beat the game.

Excellent game, fun, entertaining, everything you want and need in a GOW game

I was hesitant to buy another God of War game after the 3rd game was a letdown and the 2nd game was fun for a bit but got very repetitive super quick. This installment was a fresh start and FINALLY on the next-gen system and it looks spectacular. The storyline gets better and better as you play. Sometimes the over-the-shoulder view is annoying as they are trying to show off all of the graphics but it makes aiming and throwing stuff pretty slick.

Great game. If you played the other gows its a bit of a learning curve but once you get it down its a lot of fun. Only problem is after the games over all the additional quests seem pointless.

I bought this game for my son and he played it none stop until he finished it. I have always liked the god of war games since my husband first had PS2 and now my son is continuing after him :)

Truly awesome graphics and gameplay! Takes the god of war series in a new direction and great storyline. Would recommend this game to any fan of the god of war series or a serious game player!

While the fighting seems to get a bit repetitive at times, there are enough new twists to keep it from getting completely stale. But the story line is what keeps you wanting to move forward.

I bought this older game for a great price based on the reviews. Yes, it's older, but at least I know it has great reviews and it's unlikely I'll be disappointed.

It’s definitely not the same style as before, but you probably won’t mind. Plays beautifully and is a worthy sequel if you were a fan of the older games, and maybe even if you weren’t.

I haven't played through a ton of the game yet, but what I have was fun. I'm new to the God of War series in that this is the first time I've played it, but it was one of the reasons I was interested in getting a Playstation. I can say that so far I'm not disappointed. If you already love the God of War series you don't need my vote, but if you haven't tried it yet don't be afraid to give it a shot. I think you'll enjoy it too.
