One of the best PS4 games of last-generation. Great story and great combat and gameplay. Transitioning from Greek Mythology to Norse was well done as well. Make sure you buy this game.

Everything about this game is Masterfully done. The Story is worthy of Hollywood even Netflix. The Gameplay is fluid fun and challenging. The Graphics keep you immersed the Norse World and you dont want to leave lol 15 of 10 Classic!

Some major changes to Kratos and gameplay but still an awesome game. This game requires a bit more strategy which is fun. I think fans of the GOW franchise will like the new changes. Overall great game and would definitely recommend!

I had never played a God of War game before this one because they had never quite grabbed my interest. As a fan of Norse myth and after reading other reviews I decided to give this a try and it's now one of my favorite games. Storytelling in games has grown so much in the last decade and we're seeing a lot of fantastic, epic adventures. The BEST part of this game, however, is the relationship between a father and son who are journeying together for the first time. They are growing together, becoming better together, and going through Hel (literally!) to keep a promise to the woman who connects them. With a sequel finally announced you don't want to wait to play this!

Probably one of the best action/story combinations in any game I've ever played. Highly recommended if you enjoy a good combat system and story. It's a great evolution of the series and the amazing visuals are just icing on the cake.

I have always loved this series. I was worried about the story line, addition of the kid, and the change of weaponry but that has stepped this game up. I am only through 3 levels and have found it to be quite tough and worth my time!

My son couldn’t put this game down until he finished it. The challenges are addictive and the story is solid. I finally got a chance to play it myself and I also agree that it’s the best in the series.

Along with Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War is a must have video game. The story, the fighting, the graphics... all of it was amazing! I was so invested through the entire game. It never let me down!

It’s the perfect game to have in the library for when a group of friends come over and you want to play something that’s simple, fun, and can be comfortably finished in a single sitting. It does admittedly play it pretty safe with its level design, and as a result there is some tedium that creeps in towards the tail end of the campaign or a single sitting arcade mode run, but these shortcomings are for the most smoothed over thanks to fun combat, a charming and nostalgic pixel aesthetic, and one of the best soundtracks of the year so far.

What is there to say about this game that's not good? Play this on the PS4 Pro and you will be amazed by the graphical enhancements of 4k. Story, soundtrack, combat, everything is great about this game. Must buy.

This entry of the franchise is a great step for a series that was wearing its welcome. Everything from the gameplay to the story to the world structure is better than any other God of War game. You must try it if you’re a PS4 owner.

Definitely my favorite game on PS4. Great value with the Playstation Hit version and excellent gameplay and story. Play now so you can enjoy the sequel when it's released!

The combat and story is amazing the visuals on the ps5 make this game outstanding the combat is challenging at times but it's forgiving at time and I can't recommend this game enough

My son is always asking me to watch him play video games, so I love when I get to buy games that are fun for me to watch. The graphics on this game are amazing, the storyline is great. My son loved playing it. Great buy.

I bought this for my son for his birthday. So far he has been enjoying it. Watching him it appears to be challenging, but in a good way. Fights require some skill and not just button mashing. Puzzles require some thought as well.

This game hits 10 across the board, great graphics, great gameplay and great story! No you don't have to had played previous God of War to titles to get into this. You won't regret a purchase, this is game of the year hands down!

I was wrong. I didn’t even like any of the old God of War games. The game is just beautiful on a 4k HDR TV and a PS4 Pro. Add the reworked gameplay, and a solid story, and you have one of this generation’s very best.

This game was absolutely breathtaking, it is a must ps4 exclusive that you have to have in your collection. An all new story unfolds and it just engages you more and more. I literally have put in 35 hours already. Pick this up.

He wakes up early just to play this game! I’m not even sure if he’s been eating. But the graphics are amazing and the story is very in-depth where you feel like you’re truly traveling along with Kratos & his son.
