game feels similar to the other GoW titles, but new and fresh and improved. Good story, good action, good game overall. highly recommend, even if you haven't played prior GoW titles.

You cannot beat a good god of war game!!! Great price too

I’ve never played GOW but this game is everything I hoped it would be. The Single player is lengthy and packed with adventure and there are so many things to do. The graphics are some of the best I’ve seen on ps4pro,the detail is amazing and I love how the camera used throughout the gameplay never changes and cutscenes are inter fused seemlessly, which leads to an overall immersive experience. The Audio is awesome as well, from the characters themselves to the music and action packed fighting , u feel the impact of the sound everywhere. Overall I’m very happy with this release! If you like adventure and story driven games with tons of action and massive boss battles this game is for you.

I love this game. I've gotten over 100+ hours just exploring and fighting and it never gets old. Not too hard too 100% and has excellent difficulty choices for Beginners to Hardcore gamers

I have never played the previous GoW games, but I was recommended this game based on the story alone and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. Gameplay is smooth and the story is amazing.

This was one the best games I have played. The graphics were unbelievable, and story was outstanding. I am not a big fan of multi player, so enjoy a good single player campaign.

My God-ness this is just a masterpiece! Silly puns aside, you HAVE to play this game. If you love single player semi-open world games, God of War fits the bill. The story is surprisingly deep and heartfelt, and I can’t wait for part 2 (which should be released sometime in late 2021 fingers-crossed). Combat mechanics are top notch as well. Even long after completing the story I find myself coming back for more, whether it is a New Game+ or to finish all the side missions. This game turned me into a completionist. What a game! Simply incredible. The storyline and action truly draw you into the game. Wether or not you have played the previous GOW games you will enjoy this game. Be warned though... it can be very violent.

A great single player game. Caution to parents: They swear a bit in the game. Overall a great father son dynamic to the gameplay. Loads of stuff to do and see. The story is engaging 50 plus hours of game play.

This is a very solid game. Deserving of it's awards. I was afraid the dynamic change would leave this game stale from the older ones but it holds it ground. Combat is fun and You will hear lots of boy!

This is a good game. The gameplay is amazing and has an emotional and compelling storyline with a great use of Norse mythology. Great grab for PS4/PS5 owners.

I had to switch the difficulty to "Story Mode" midgame because of how hard it it. Great graphics and compelling story, even if it is kinda on the rails and not an open world.

In my opinion it is the best PS4 game currently released this year. I was never a fan of the series but the did something different with this one, not only refining the combat but including an immersive story.

The game is very fun and challenging. The graphics on the PS4 Pro are great very life like. The story is new and fresh, I haven't played the series since PS2, and the game is still awesome. Highly recommended.

I’ve played the previous god of war games and this is by far my favourite in the series. The game looks beautiful and I really enjoyed the story. I love the Norse lore too. Absolutely Fantastic game!!!!

I purchased this as a gift for my husband. Although I have not personally played this game I think it is fair to assume it’s a winner. Upon receiving his gift my husband proceeded to jump up and down hollering in joy as if he were a small child who was told he could have candy for supper. He then disappeared into the hollows of his man cave only retreating for necessities like food, water, sleep, and work. I’m not positive but he may have been using a diaper to avoid unnecessary time away from his game. This game also afforded me the ability to quietly watch sappy holiday movies to my content without constant dad joke interruptions. All in all this game seems to be a real winner for the whole family.
