If you have not purchased the God of War because you thought it would be subpar, you are wrong. GREAT GAME AND STORY LINE!!

Great RPG with strong story, good gameplay, lots of fights and action. I'd say one of the best game on PS.

Overall, the story and controls are great. The difficulty really challenges you more than past God of War games.

If you’ve played a god of war game you know what your getting: great graphics, epic story, and good gameplay. These is some RPG style upgrades that can change your gameplay as well as controlling Kratos son will offer differ styles. The only con is the lack of a jump button which some loot can be unattainable due to this.

Loving this game. Story has an air of mystery, combat is very satisfying. So much to do! Absolutely gorgeous and immersive.

I have been unable to put this down since I purchased it. I think I have a gaming addiction. I have played all the other God of Wars and this was my favorite. Like the the previous games, the first major fight with an unknown stranger completely BLEW my mind. However, the only down side is the cut screens. In previous games you had to hit buttons during the cut screens to progress. This substantially cut this aspect out of the game and is the only con to this new installment.

I have played video games on many consoles since 'PONG'! My favorites have always been RPGs,Role Playing Adventures etc. God of War takes my gaming experience beyond my own imagination.....My body aches from playing for so many hours in one sitting yet I keep doing it again and again! For those that love adventurous RGPs...you will not be disappointed! KRATOS is BACK!! And better than Ever! Make sure your gaming chair, cushions, hammock or what have you is built for comfort and duration.

I have been a fan of the GoW series since the first one on PS2. This new installment is a literal game-changer! It has refined all the fun, outrageous melee combat of GoW games with the pacing and narrative sense of a Naughty Dog production. There are definitely some vibes in this game that will remind you of Last of Us and Uncharted. I am consistently surprised at all the new stuff the game keeps throwing at you. I haven't finished it yet, but I can't wait to play it a second time. :)

This one took a while to really click for me; I knew it was going to be different from previous God of War games, but still had a hard time adjusting to the gameplay at first. But once you start to unlock skills and the fighting opens up, and you start to really get a grasp on the controls, it clicks and starts to flow and becomes so much fun. This is a must-try for anyone with even a passing interest in third-person action games or Norse mythology.

I didn't play all of the previous God of War games but I did enjoy the 2 I did play. This game is as good, probably, even better, than the previous games. The Norse mythology was a great next step for the franchise. The game starts of easy but definitely gets to a point where you have to start thinking and trying. The story is great but you should definitely play it more than just the story. I definitely would recommend to play this for the God of War fan and even someone new to the game.

God of War is like “The Last of Us” and “Horizon Zero Dawn” had a baby. It’s amazing graphics and stunning visuals allow for a cinema like experience. The fighting is a huge upgrade from the old God of War games. This is a unique experience that puts the player in the shoes of a...well...used to be invincible god. Oh!! And the enemies are vastly different, not 1,000 of the same guys running at you. The customization and leveling up of your gear was a stroke of genius. This game gets 10/10
