Graphics are top notch and story and characters are engaging

This is easily one of the best games I've played in years and certainly the best God of War. No more one note Kratos, now he has a son and a quest that will help them understand one another. Also some of the best combat mechanics I've seen from this series, with varied enemies and strategies in case you don't care about the mushy stuff. If you have a PS4 you must buy this game.

Not a hardcore gamer at all but really enjoyed the graphics and story line.

I had seen the previews and some of the play through ahead of the release, but controlling Kratos once again made me awestruck. The story is inspired by Norse mythology and while the original trilogy and expanded DLS were concentrated in Greece mythology the transition is seemless. If you were still debating purchasing a PS4 Pro, don’t. The Pro is worth it for this game alone!

Loving this game, and I've played all past God of War games. Love the grumpy old Kratos channeling his inner Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino. Boy! Graphics are amazing on PS4 Pro and Kratos's axe is devastating and a pleasure to use, and that's important since it's his primary weapon. This is one of the premiere video game franchises in history so don't hesitate and just buy it!

best game on playstation by far. kratos the god of war is back enough said.

I have a backlog of games I need to finish. I've started most of them, but always fall off. God of War had my attention for 4 days straight. I could not stop thinking about it. All I wanted to do is play it, and see the conclusion of Kratos and BOI's adventure. It's going to be a long hard wait for the next one. Great job Sony Santa Monica. You guys deserve all the praise.

If you are a fan of the God of War series than this is a must buy.

God of War is by far more than just a reimagining of the series but a much needed change of pace for the series. God of War not only introduces a Nordic mythology storyline but new ways to enjoy the game while still being faithful to the series formula, like an Action RPG feel of finding new weapons and power ups. It's definitely more than a step in the right direction.
