While the gameplay is expectedly great, following in the footsteps of previous GoW entries, the new Norse setting and the relationship between father and son sets God of War apart from other action games.

This game is fantastic for those who like single person story games. The Norse mythology aspect is entertaining and the personal story between main characters is fantastic. I’m so glad I got this game.

I am enjoying this game 3 years after it came out and it is still lots of fun after so many years. Love the visually and the gameplay.

Every God of War has a story worth telling with larger than life characters, fantastic graphics, and beautiful scenery. The game play is simple and easy. Everyone of all ages can enjoy this game.

I've only clocked about six hours into the game, but I'm enjoying it. The sights and sounds are some of the best video games have to offer. I expected more action and battles, but I'm sure they're coming.

A dad simulator where you walk around and help your son... kick major demon butt. A challenging and rewarding adventure through Norse mythology with stunning graphics and sound design. A total blast.

Graphics are amazing, gameplay takes some getting used to if you're well acquainted with the former games, but man let me tell you once it clicks in your head and your hands you're bound to fall in love.

I think this game deserves to be the best game of 2018. Compared to open-world games like RDR2, it offers a more vivid and dynamic gameplay experience. Action scenes are beautiful and challenging.

This is the best game of the year they have older games which are very good as well , but this is so much fun playing with the gods ,a great don’t hasatate to buy it hou won’t be disappointed!!!

My young son and I play different games each month in our spare time. We are by no means experts or gamers but we enjoy playing in between sports and school. We like this game so far and would recommend!

The graphics are pretty good and the combat feels great but like most Sony first party titles it tries too hard at being a movie. Most of the gameplay is walking straight along a (often gorgeous) path and occasionally press whichever button is displayed on the screen. It’s God of War but pretending to be “open world”

OMG! One of the best video games and video game stories I've ever played. God of War added a layer to its awesome history here. Superb game. A must pkay for sure.

God of war takes a new direction on this one. A more personal experience as kratos. Different camera that brings you really close to the action. AAA in every way. Can't believe the game is this good!!

Absolutely gorgeous on the PS4 Pro, running on my new Sony TV I also purchased at Best Buy. I haven't gotten too far in yet but really loving the game, good buy!

People really hyped this up so I was prepared to be disappointed, but it turned out to live up to all the hype! Must play if you own a PS4. Works great in all modes on all versions of PS4, in my opinion.

I bought this to test out the 4k resolution of the PS4 pro. I was not disappointed. The game play is just like all the previous chapters, but is smoothed out perfectly for the new system.

I have played all previously games in GoW series. This game, well, is very different. Instead of controlling the "god" that full of fury and smash/kill everything, I can actually enjoy some good stories.

One of the best video games I've ever played. Visuals are some of the best available on PS4. It's a must play for anyone who enjoys gaming and great story telling.

This is a fun, detailed game. The world is engrossing, and the controls are spectacular. Its a bit too gory and tragic for my tastes, but lots of folks will like it.
