Gameplay is amazing, story is amazing, soundtrack is amazing... what more can you ask for?

Oh my God of War this is certainly the PS4's greatest game to date. I've only played maybe 8 hours of it but even that short time was enough to net a 5-star rating. It's different from the older games but in a good way. The combat is more methodical and the Norse mythology is represented incredibly well. Santa Monica also outdid themselves with the graphics; if you have a HDR television you are in for a real treat.

Don't get me wrong this game is great, the 1 star off is because this is just so far from the original formula that it doesn't even feel like a God of War game to me. That aside, incredible gameplay, a little slower paced, great RPG elements and engulfing story.

One of the greatest and most gorgeous games I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I love the God of War games not only for the action, but I'm truly fascinated by the depth of story telling. The atmosphere of each level is meticulously designed, and its so interesting to learn more about Viking traditions and beliefs. Love this game! Must buy!

This game is excellent in every department, from the visuals, to the story, and the combat.

The game play is different than orginal "God of War" games but its still close enough to the old style of play that you can master it very quickly. This game is very hard but it dying a few times and finally beating it offers me a sense of accomplishment. If it gets to tough for you, the game does offer the ability to turn down the difficulty. Overall it's one of my favorite, if not my favorite "God of War" games

The graphics and story content are amazing and will keep your attention for hours of play

I rented this game a long time ago and now want to replay it. It's a wonderful story. Some sidequests but nothing too repetitive. The story is about 15-20 hours for me which is perfect. Not too long or short. I didn't feel like the devs were tacking on quests just for the sake of adding to the game and everything in the story felt essential.

My nephew has been enjoying this game and expressed that it has exceeded his expectations!

Gameplay is different. At first wasn't sure about it then I preferred it. Story is great.

It's because of games like these that the PS4 remains one of the best gaming consoles of the current generation. The game runs as if it were hand-crafted by video game gods that know how to optimize a beautiful looking game like no other. The combat is definitely worthy of the series and this game seems to be what all other games aim to achieve in terms of satisfying gameplay. Absolutely would recommend.
