I 100% completed the game because that what I usually do when I buy a game to get my money's worth. I was invested in the game the entire time I was playing it, the only time I ever felt bored was when I completed the game because there was nothing left to do. This is one of the best game i played in a long while I highly recommend to play it

My grandson was very excited to receive GOD of WAR for his birthday. He raved about the Excellent Graphics in this PlayStation exclusive, but I think his favorite feature was that he didn't have to wait for loading screens when moving about in the game. He reported back to me that both he AND his Dad love playing this one. :)

This game was an absolutely amazing experience. Featuring and namedropping several key figures from Norse mythology in a gorgeous environment, God of War is one of the best journeys in a game I've played recently My favorite thing about the game is that the camera never leaves Kratos, providing a seamless experience. I highly recommend it!

Now thes is an outstanding game! The norse mythology setting is a real treat and greatly told in this versions way. The game is well paced, fairly challenging and you got more than enough bang for your buck. In sunk in at least 60 hours playing, exploring and doing challenges and not sad about it. Looks amazing, solid and satisfying gameplay.

What can I say, the graphics and detail they put into this game is astonishing. I was blown away by how good this game looks on my 4k tv. Granted the ps4 pro doesn't do native 4k, they do like a checkered box but who cares, the game looks amazing. And you can't go wrong with anything santa monica studio puts out, another home run.

I'm on my 5th playthrough of God of War. It has a great storyline, Combat, side quests, lore, etc. Best of all is that it's a complete game. No half polished content in need of patching, no DLC, and NO loot boxes. It's the kind of game that we should be encouraging game developers to make. This game deserves your money.

.....I just can’t. The story is excellent. Graphics a extremely sharp. But...... the developers’ apparent need to reinvent this game by leaving out trademark gameplay characteristics is dumb. They made changes for the sake of change, not for playability or enjoyment of the game. Claims by the game review media are 100% dishonest, or at the least disingenuous. They all harp on and on about how this game is deeper and not just a button masher like the previous games. It’s understandable that those media outlets have to abide by the game dev’s prescribed bullet points, and are obviously compensated in some way (rupees, access, prestige, etc). But they must never have played the previous games. Or this new one. It is just as button-mashable as the previous games. And the old games can become *at least* as complex as this one, or more, considering how many weapon combos there were. And because they built this new game over top of a pre-existing game’s engine they decided it was OK to leave out players’ ability to jump. That was a major mechanic from previous games, and now that it’s absent feels like a huge handicap. The character auto-jumps when you approach an obstacle. But because the underpinnings of this game’s engine are recycled, players are limited to the primitive, single dimension level design as a result. The entire game can be played by: “dodge left/right, then attack.” It’s extremely repetitive. And don’t get me started on the babysitting aspect of this game. It’s like trying to swim in a pool while wearing all your cloths......it can be done, but it’s not much fun. The player is forced to use this brat as a part of the game, or grind your way through the game using less effective offensive options. The kid feels, in every way, like a penalty. Massive disappointment.

What can I say, great graphics, great story and fun gameplay

The original franchise was a lot of fun, but not exactly renowned for its message. This game is a fresh take on Kratos, and BOY does it wallop. If someone'd told me a GOW game would not only make me wanna replay it, but tear up and actually CRY at some parts, I woulda scoffed but...this game delivered, and then some.

For any fan of the God of War series this game is a must play. The shift from Greek mythology to Norse mythology is wonderfully done. Additionally, this GoW game plays more like a sandbox game rather than the linear games in the series and it works well. Graphics are also incredible, as is expected from the franchise.
