God of War cemented itself as one of the greatest games of all time. The reinvention of the series; of Kratos was pulled off with such quality. The lore, the combat, the pacing, it's all perfect. God of War is a masterpiece of a game, and should not be missed.

This game is a good reboot for the series. Originally thought about not getting it, since I had the feeling it would be the same as its predecessors, but this game delivers beyond the base of what made the series a good franchise. Takes advantage of the capabilities of the current gen ps4 console

I bought a copy since there was a good sale and price. I have seen this game played and thought it would be a good game to own when the price drops during black Friday. I have been a God of War fan for years and from what I can tell this will be another good addition to my collection.

This game is simply amazing. I’m many hours in and the pros definitely outweigh any cons. The game is gorgeous and the story is engaging. If I had to give one gripe it would be the combat controls can feel a bit cumbersome at times but it seems to improve as you play on. 10/10 would recommend.

This game is better than I expected. It’s all I play at the moment. GOW fans will not be disappointed. New comers will enjoy it also. Difficulty can be adjusted, so don’t worry about the challenge. Graphics, gameplay, etc. is amazing. My only con is the camera angle takes some getting used to.

This game is just about as perfect of a sequel to to the other games in this series as anyone could ask for. You don't need to play the other games in the series, but a quick glance over the story on the wiki would be beneficial. You're doing yourself a disservice if you pass this game up.

The God of War series returns, and is as good as it's ever been. The gameplay mechanics have been completely overhauled, which may be a disappoint to some returning fans, but the unique telling of the story from a single camera that never breaks away from the action is a welcomed treat.

This is one of the best games for PS4 and Xbox!!! Love how they have incorporated Viking Mythology in the game as well. I got the Stone Mason Edition When it came out with came with a bunch of extras. I got this copy for a friend for there birthday.

An incredible game with a really nice story to it. The characters and dialogue really set this game apart from other games nowadays. The combat isn't half-bad, but could definitely use a little more oomph to bring it up to other action games. In all, a great pick-up and definitely worth it.

Is it as hype as it's made out to be? No. It's better. Not the traditional God of War play style but this new take fits the tone very well. Great to look at, even on my oldgen PS4. Plays great, but since it's played on an oldgen, it sounds very loud so if you don't have a Pro, use a headset.

This was on top of my nephew's christmas list. I already have it so I knew he would enjoy it. And he's also been watching youtube videos from other users. He didn't know my brother was getting him the PS4 so I had to wait until he had that to give it to him, but he loves the game.

Everything about this game is amazing from the plot to the graphics. Will keep you entertained and going back to play over and over again. For past god of war lovers you get an insane amount of character development on Kratos. Game play is completely different then past GOW. Very refreshing.

God Of War 1-3 were fun games with insane set pieces. The story wasn't exactly great and Kratos was something of boring character with a weak arc. This game fixes all that, but also switches genres. It does it so well that this series is better off than ever before.

This is different than the previous GOW games but it's great nevertheless. The cámara angle was kind of weird to me at first but than I got used to it and loved it. The buddy system it uses with his son is different and very welcomed to this series. The story I enjoyed very much.

This game is amazing, A different take from previous GOW games, but over all an amazing experience, totally different take on Kratos, fight scenes are brutal as always. I wouldn't be surprised if this got game of the year award, if you have been a fan of the GOW series, this is a must have.

In a world filled with MMO's, MP FPS games, it is refreshing to delve into the story and just get caught up in it all. I've never played a single God of War game, because the game play mechanics never appealed to me. However, this game changed up the formula, and it has been a blast so far.

The God Of War series is my best series of all time, but this the latest entry is the icing on the cake for me. from start to finish the game captivates with gameplay and graphics its the best one yet. A must have in mt eyes! Santa Monica Studios did it again.

I am still getting into the game. I usually don't have too much time to play, so my attention to it hasn't been great. Although the game is pretty awesome so far. Graphics are great. Gameplay is so different from the previous GOW but getting the hang of it. Great game.

God of War is an amazing game that not only showcases the power of the PS4 but also re-imagines the God of War experience in a way that feel fresh, new and exciting. Everything on display is top notch and is one of the best games to be released on the PS4.
