God of War has one of the best stories in Video Game History. The game is certainly woth a 2nd playthrough, because you will miss the hidden details the first time around. The only flaw is that this game can feel Lonely. This beautiful world seems to only have things trying to Jill you.

The series was always okay but nothing special. This game however, is completely fantastic. The visuals, gameplay and story all work together to make something special, and I'm glad I gave it a chance. Even if you werent a fan of the series, give the story of Kratos and his son a chance.

This game revolutionized the franchise, the world is vivid and breathtaking with a completely new feel to it. The story is gripping and the combat is ever so satisfying. You will lose yourself in this game, this title is a must have, no debate needed.

I have been an avid fan of Kratos and of course, I waited to for the right time to buy this game, it was on sale and I started playing when I got home. The game itself is amazing, not to mention the short clips between the game, lol

Always a fan of the god of war series. This new addition with over the shoulder prospective brought a new refreshing element to your traditional god war play style. Highly recommend for returning god of war fans and even for those who are new to the series!

This game is amazing! Wasn't going to buy it at first, thought I might wait til the price drops. Glad I didn't, cause I can't imagine that happening for a while. They took all the aspects from the original series and improved upon it in every way possible. This game will not dissapoint!

I love Norse mythos, so was real uncomfortable with Kratos killing them all and this game takes serious liberties with the mythos to make it suitably God of Warish. But it's still a great and fascinating open world game worth checking for those that like brutality in their lives.

The new GOW is much different than the original series. I think the Norse mythology was a good refresher for the series. The game play is fantastic and the scenery is mind blowing at times. It takes a little getting used to being able to upgrade so many things, but it adds to the fun.

I haven't even finished the game or put so many hours into the game that's just because I want to enjoy every minute of it, (big god of war fan) the graphics in 4k are out of this world, the game is very good, maybe the whole mechanics of it is hard at the beginning. enjoy the views!

I love the game. I am not a hardcore gamer, so enjoy this game for the challenge being hard enough to keep me entertained but not too hard that would get me frustrated. The game is beautiful and as you move forward and understand better the mechanics, it really gets you hooked up.

Writing this on behalf of my husband whom I gifted this to for Father's Day. I'll simply say he LOVED this game. The attention to detail is superb in this game, the story line is captivating, and side quests are abundant for a complete game with lots of content and game time.

The game manages to update the God of War franchise in a way which is approachable for newcomers but fulfilling for those who played the previous games in the series. The combat isn't nearly as intense as previous God of War games, but it is satisfying nonetheless. A must-play game.

I’m about 15 hours into the game and find that I’m spending a good amount of time stopping to take in the environment. The amount of detail is incredible. Especially on a ps4 pro and 4K tv. The story is compelling and gives a much needed new dimension to the main character Kratos.

This game is a masterpiece. Would give it 6 stars if I could. There was so much more to this game than I originally thought and the experience overall is one of the best I’ve ever seen. If you loved the old games or never played GoW ever, this is still an amazing game to jump into.

Insane graphics. Next level gameplay with RPG elements. Inspiration from some of my favorite games (Last of Us, Dark Souls), and all of the brutality you've come to expect from God of War. It's a real fresh take that I would recommend to anyone with a PS4. Can't wait for more.

This game is literally for everyone and not only that if you haven't played this then you are missing out on major gaming history. Its good beyond words

I'm a huge fan of the series but I love the huge changes that this latest entry makes. There's a ton of freedom and a great depth to characters. It's basically everything that's best about God of War combined with everything that was great about The Last of Us. Highly recommended.

I have purchased quite a few games over the last six months and this is by far the best game I have ever played. It is very immersive and contains a lot of content that will keep you playing for a very long time. The story is very good and the voice acting is top notch

This game is PS4 best game. The graphics, story and overall game play is great! Sony invested alote in this game and the final product is excellent. Game of the year 2018!
