At the end of the day, for me, "GAME PLAY" is what wins me over. The graphics on GOW are impressive, stunning and at times down right amazing with detail. BUT, no matter how good a game may look if it doesn't play well or offers a lack luster story/objectives then I'll lose interest. GOW has, in my opinion a powerful blend of smooth game play, powerful graphics and an intriguing story. Which leads to one more important milestone for me with games and that is "replay value". I'm not some Playstation fanboy, been gaming for 33 years. So, I can honestly say, GOW did an excellent job at providing smooth game play, gorgeous graphics and a new twist on the story line. It isn't the same old game GOW with updated graphics. Which is nice. This is definitely worthy of your money and a fine addition to any game collection.

I was not really a fan of the old God of war games. I didn't like camera view and the hit or miss platforming. This God of war is like a completely different game. Stunning graphics, amazing combat, & great story

This game is awesome! If you haven't played it yet, DO IT NOW! This really is one of the BEST games on ps4 and hands down the BEST God of War game. It has a GREAT story and amazingly addictive gameplay.

I've played the previous God of War games, but when I picked this up I read it would be a brand new experience. It certainly was. I've enjoyed the combo-heavy smash-em-up game play that the series used to be known for, but now the slower, more strategic pace gives rise to a more fulfilling game play experience. It feels more like an adventure, driven by story, than just a blood-fest. Been playing it since day one, basically, and taking a step at a time to really enjoy the journey. Loving it so far! Of course, all the tech is in place; if you have a 4k TV, you'll thank yourself for picking this up. Definitely one of the best looking games out there. Even if you don't have 4k but own a PS4, this is a must-buy for the collection. I'm sure the DLC stuff will come later, but the base game is worth it on its own.

My only gripe, if you can call that is that I miss T.C Carson. Christopher isn't bad I just wish Carson could've finished the series. But overall I loved this game, great graphics and story as usual can't wait to see what's next.

Once again, Sony has an exclusive for Playstation consumers that caters to the fans of deep storytelling. This game is great, the details are amazing, & with my BestBuy Membership + Rewards, I got this for $30. So, I definitely recommend.

This was such a well made game. Same God of War feel and story intensity that we all love. They did such a great job and really revamped the series with this one. I've played through and !00% cleared the game, super worth getting.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? This game is just incredible! The graphics, the sound, the story are all top notch. I would expect anything less from such a legendary franchise, and God of War has certainly over-delivered!

This game is a must have for ALL gamers, even if you've never played even one previous God of War game!! Truely Amazing story, crazy fights, tricky puzzles and just a gr8 story to boot...... plus sweet graphics also. MUST BUY!!

This is literally like the best game I've ever played. The graphics were awesome! It could be difficult and frustrating at times, but great fun. The story was well written with plenty of exciting boss fights!

Fantastic graphics, amazing story, and plenty challenging for those who are much better at games than me... Do yourself a favor and buy it now. It's well worth it even at $60 (though you really should have GCU if you're reading this).

This is one of the better single player games in a very long time. The graphics are great and the story and gameplay keep you hooked for hours. This game is great and will keep you busy with side quests and leveling. Highly recommend.

God of War was one of my favorite franchises back when it first arrived on PS2. This reboot with new combat system hits it out of the park. Stunning visuals and an emotional story make this likely contender for game of the year 2018.

Man what a game! After many years of not having a new God of War this game really makes a triumphant return. Graphics are great, story is amazing, and the combat system is better than ever. Must have game of 2018 for any ps4 owners.

Loved this game so much. The story was extremely well crafted and interesting. Gameplay is fun and challenging. Fantastic cut scenes. Definitely looking forward to a second play through.

Everything about this game is Masterfully done. The Story is worthy of Hollywood even Netflix. The Gameplay is fluid fun and challenging. The Graphics keep you immersed the Norse World and you dont want to leave lol 15 of 10 Classic!

Some major changes to Kratos and gameplay but still an awesome game. This game requires a bit more strategy which is fun. I think fans of the GOW franchise will like the new changes. Overall great game and would definitely recommend!

I was a fan of the old God of War games on PS2 and PS3, but this one revitalizes a series that had gotten a little stale. The story is by far the best in the entire series, and the new gameplay is groundbreaking!

Probably one of the best action/story combinations in any game I've ever played. Highly recommended if you enjoy a good combat system and story. It's a great evolution of the series and the amazing visuals are just icing on the cake.
