IMHO.....yes it is. I am biased toward the action/adventure genre but OMG is this a great game! Graphics, controls, open world etc. It has everything. I would give it a 100 if Best Buy had that option.

If you have a PS4 or plan to get one, You must get this game without thinking about it. It is a must have for every PS4 owner. The story is unbelievable and the graphics is just the icing on the cake.

Picked up this game after finishing horizon zero dawn when it went on sale. Graphics are top notch and story is interesting. Really fun killing off bad guys in a barbaric manner. Hightly recommended.

Beautiful story excellent graphics and just completely satisfying the game makes me want more in the best way sorry no spoilers in this review but this game delivers above and beyond on so many levels

Great reboot for this great franchise and definitely up there along with Horizon Zero Dawn as the two best games for the PS4. Incredible graphics, story, gameplay and cuasi RPG progression system.

Last time I played this title was when it was still n PS2. I wanted to try this one and bought it the first opportunity I could. This game is incredible!! I am actually thinking of buying old consoles just to get to know all the story.

The game is fun overall. The dialogue and story are lacking a bit so far. The game and what they are attempting to accomplish feels a lot like The Last Of Us. But overall it is fun and action packed.

This is by far my favorite single player game I've played in recent years. Great story line and some great twists for fans of the original series. The graphics and scale of the game are also amazing.

God of War is currently the best game of year. The story, graphics, characters, and world are all of premium quality. It will be tough for another game to beat God of War for game of the Year.

Great game, graphics, mechanics. The overhaul on the camera and combat system is a nice change from the old hack and slash and arcadey camera. It has some open-ish areas, but is still mostly linear.

This game shows the full potential of this generation of consoles. The game just looks spectacular and the story is awesome, you can tell the devs worked hard on this. probably game of the year!
