This is my first time playing any GoW out of the series and it's been amazing. The controls are a little finicky but you adapt. The game play, visuals, and story is amazing.

Amazing game - the graphics, combat, and THE STORY are among the best of the current selection of games, in my opinion. A must-play.

I never played the prior iterations, but I find the story and game play engaging and fun. Normally I skip story lines (Call of Duty), but this one is interesting to follow.

Great game, cinematically awesome and graphics are fairly detailed. Not as open world like the Witcher but good enough to not get you lost and distracted.

Just an immaculate looking game, engaging story, and dynamic combat system! Heard it takes like 20+ hours to beat as well and I'm only 4 in! Don't think about it, buy it!

Dude. This is a great game. GOD OF WAR proved itself going into its 4 game in the series. I highly recommend this game for anybody that wants a good story and gameplay.

God of War is the best reason to purchase a PS4 Pro. First time players, and veterans to the GOW franchise will be satisfied. The graphics, storyline, and gameplay fully immerse you in all the action. The vast open worlds you explore with Kratos and his son are unforgettable. The visuals leave you captivated by how the developers paid attention to every detail. The cutscenes and gameplay are blended so well that you will become mesmerized. I highly recommend you play GOW on a 4K tv with HDR. This way you get the full effect of the magic, lore, and all the things that make God of War an instant classic. -Perfekto

Previous God of War games have been about big action and over the top combat. This game brings a calmer gameplay, but with a more fleshed out story. Definitely a must buy.

Nothing like the previous GOW games. The story is pretty good so far, I like the dynamic between Kratos and Atreus. Their relationship over the course of the game evolves and I would not want the game without the boy. Has some RPG skill and loot mechanics and creative levels with Metroid like back tracking. Also has challenging enemies that are in certain places if you can find them...hope you are leveled up and have the right gear on. This game is superb and one of the best games I have played since Horizon Zero Dawn. I have around 16 hours in so far and still enjoying it and not done with the main story yet.

Gameplay was awesome. It was different than the other games but still felt like a god of war game. The stories about Norse mythology throughout are also fun to listen to.

This latest release of God of War captures your interest from the start with a great story, perfect voice acting and graphics that are stunning. I can’t stop playing it.

This game is unlike any God of War game before it. It has a strong and focused story with a brand new combat system that utilizes less button mashing and more strategy.

This game is so visually hypnotizing when played on a 4k tv and PS4 Pro. The story has so much depth and gets you locked in emotionally. Hard to put the controller down.

This is a good God of War game like all the rest, but it is different. Not quite the angry sex loving Kratos we have come to love. More Grandpa Kratos and that takes some getting used to. Even weapon choice makes me feel more like an under powered Thor than God killer. With that being said it is still an awesome game with smooth controls, top notch graphics and voice acting. Would not pass this game up.
