GOTY contender

The combat system is completely changed but still as deep and satisfying as the originals. The story is also great. It's much more grounded and personal, revolving around Kratos' strained relationship with his son. But of course, crazy, over the top, boss battles are present, as they should be. I've been taking my time with it, about halfway through, but I can't wait for what the studio has planned next.

One of a kind experience

From start to finish this game is in a league of it's own. Playing along side with your son is different at first and takes getting used too but after a few hours you'll have it down. Reminds me of the Batman Arkham style games which I prefer over the side scrolling views from previous games. Button layout is different using R1/R2 combination mostly with your weapon. On a 50+ 4K tv this is one of the best looking games out now. Don't miss out.
