Best GOW in the series

The previous three were hack and slash button mashers with an okay story in retrospect, but the story telling in this one is phenomenal. It’s very emotional and engaging. The tough father and eager son relationship is perfect. The story telling and interactions within the characters is up there with The Last Of Us. It’s fresh everything with some callbacks. I highly recommend it only bein 10 - 15 hours in.

God of the Games

Think Last of Us meets Arkham series, with a god like premise. You no longer fear the Greek gods in exchange, the Norse gods and myths are the foundation of the story. I’m only 10 hours in and I’m literally thinking of how I want my second play through to be like based of the Intuitive stream lined combat and rpg leveling system makes me want to focus on different stats the 2nd time round. This is game of the year!
