Despite having never played God of War before it was easy to follow along with the story and understand what was going on. This game is, in my opinion, one of the greatest story-based games I’ve ever seen. It has the perfect mix of action and storytelling, with the emotional beats not forced and the type of gameplay that is deceivingly easy to play but difficult to master. Would absolutely recommend.

When this game was first announced, I was immediately turned off. It looked like it was taking a series that I didn't much care for (Was always more DMC than GOW) and turning it into a genre I don't like today (AAA Sony cinematic games). After getting some good word from some buddies, I bought it and BOY did my opinion do a complete 180. Unless something else surprises me, the only other competition this game could have this year is KH3.

This is not the God of War you have played and played again. This isn't Kratos at his best, this isn't just another pretty build of the same thing we saw in the last 3 games. This is a whole different feel, new mechanics, a son who shoots arrows. This game will be polarizing, some will love the newness, others will hate that it isn't just like the last one with better graphics, this is definitely the next evolution of the game and I like it.

If you’re a God of War fan you should definitely get this, such a good price as well!

It was a great game diffrent from previous Gow games ,but it was a great story and playing mechanics.

this game isnt like past god of war games--as in leveling up like 1 2 3 did with red orbs this one you level up and upgrade like an action rpg game..the details in this game are sweet and sound seems perfect for game it is...but the action of god of war is there fight kill those who oppose you and not saying much about story--but its a really good story from what ive played and i am over halfway there. get this game you wont be disappointed

This is a great game so far. I'm still playing it but there is soooooo much to do and sooooo many places to go and there isn't a certain order you can go in---meaning that you can proceed to go in any direction and take on any mission you choose. I won't spoil it but there is a surprise in the game that made me jump for joy and brought back memories. The same thing will happen to you if you have played the past games. This is a great buy!!

This is the best God of War by far! Graphics are amazing. The story keeps you wanting to keep playing.

Classic game - I had played years ago, and along with the purchase of a new PS5, I bought a steeply discounted copy of this game. There are a million reviews of the game, which is one of my all time favorites. If you have a PS4 or PS5 and have never played this, absolutely pick it up if it's still discounted heavily!

God of War is back in a big way. This entry features best story, voice acting, graphics, and gameplay.
