God of War is not only a “PlayStation Hit,” it is one of the must play, flagship titles native to PlayStation. God of War has great graphics, awesome action and gameplay and a solid storyline that has spawned multiple titles, with another in development. Get this game, you won’t be disappointed. The fact that it was only $8 on Black Friday only makes it sweeter.

Exceeded my high expectations! Combat is a lot of fun and the story/characters are rich and engaging.

I have played all of the God of War games except for the PSP/Vita one. They have all been fun, but after 3 I was burnt out on the gore and mindless violence. This entry represents a great pivot away from the misanthropic direction GOW III took, towards a focus on actual storytelling coupled with the expected gory gameplay. Great game, totally worth the value and my gosh is it beautiful. I haven't been this impressed since Last of Us.

I knew that this game would win Gane if the Year and I’m so happy that it did. Everyone kept counting it out since Red Dead Redemption 2 released this year as well but this game is something special. I’ve loved God of War ever since the first one and this one was an experience I’ll never forget. It’s become one of my favorite games of all time. This is a must own if you have a PS4. It won Game of the Year for a reason.
