There is much to talk about concerning this game. My main thing to make sure everyone knows is that this is not like the previous games in the series and is a story worth living. Last of Us is unique in the sense that few titles have ever let you feel that weight, God of War succeeds in much the same way. Personally the rpg elements present and compact story make this a much more personal story. Must play for gamers.

New God of War is beautiful to look at and awesome to play. Kratos feels like a much deeper character thanks to his son Atreus(great addition to gameplay BTW), this sort of dynamic between the two is fascinating to watch. But this story wouldnt be the same if not thanks to this no cut camera work. I dont know how they pulled it of, but its stunning. Gameplay has been revamped and its for the better! Kratos

Within the first hour of gameplay I knew this was my favorite game by far. The story line and gameplay brings in you so deep and you'll have such a deep connection with the characters that can bring out so many emotions. I am not sure if I will replay it after I platinum but it doesn't matter, it is by far the best game I have ever played and will keep it purely for the fact that I am proud to own such a masterpiece

Don't get me wrong this game is great, the 1 star off is because this is just so far from the original formula that it doesn't even feel like a God of War game to me. That aside, incredible gameplay, a little slower paced, great RPG elements and engulfing story.

Oh my God of War this is certainly the PS4's greatest game to date. I've only played maybe 8 hours of it but even that short time was enough to net a 5-star rating. It's different from the older games but in a good way. The combat is more methodical and the Norse mythology is represented incredibly well. Santa Monica also outdid themselves with the graphics; if you have a HDR television you are in for a real treat.
