Arguably the best game on the PS4 depending on your tastes. Fantastic storytelling, a beautifully designed world, rich with elements of Norse mythology, a refreshing blend of open world exploration and linear action sequences, and an extremely satisfying combat system. I have some nitpicks but they're minor compared to the strengths of the game.

Great game, No prior GOW experience needed

Kratos himself has evolved a lot as a character from the older games and is no longer just a wrath fueled death dealer but a struggling father trying to make a new life for him and his son. The violence and carnage from the old games still exist here but now with a mature story that's enthralling to go with it.

Great game for the PS4

Although linear, you still feel like you are making your own choices. This game still shares many similarities with past titles in the God of War anthology. It keeps the best parts of the past games and adds just enough to make it fresh. Any God of War fan, or any video game fan, should give this title a try.
