This game is fantastic. A great story with interesting and challenging combat.

Well, they call it a soft reboot but this is the playstation game that made me buy a PS4. This series had always been one that I enjoyed playing, it's essentially a beat em up game with awesome graphics and incredibly looking set pieces. It took me a while to get used to the over the shoulder compared to the previous series but it made the ps4 purchase during days of play worth it.

Excellent game and awesome graphics stunning story

The game looks awesome. It's one of those games you can play, stop, and play it another day. No micro-transactions. The characters are interesting throughout the game. If you like single player games, then this is a must buy. You don't have to play the previous games to enjoy this one. My favorite part is throwing the axe and calling it back while fighting enemies. It is worth a buy.

I kept away from any news about God of War. This games direction caught me by surprise, but as I played it, the game made more sense. Witnessing the transformation of a monster back not only into a man, but a father was somewhat humbling. This game is for any true fan of the God of War series, proving that even though it has changed, it is still a worthy story.

This is like playing the very first GoW on the PS2. The wow factor is amazing

To have Kratos go from a one dimensional character to a deep compelling one is just the tip of the iceberg in this epic game. By far the greatest in the series and of this generation for its storytelling, gameplay, soundtrack and presentation. As a parent this game hits even deeper as it tells the story of a man trying to lead his son all the while forgetting your past.

This is the best God of War so far, not only because of the obvious improved graphics, but also because of the game's storyline. Atreus addition (Kratos' son) complements the game so much, fighting mechanics are awesome, character upgrade trees are interesting. Such a beautiful game really.
