It is old skool and I love it. A little assembly requires but worth it. If you want an HD brand new video game this isn’t it. If you bought it as a great old skool at jade game for your man cave this is it!!!

Awesome game just like you remember but for smaller spots

Classic arcade game with same graphic quality. Will require a couple hours of assembly but nothing too complex. A second pair of hands is helpful but not necessary. All in all, if you yearn to play GT, this scratches the itch. I recommend this product.

This thing is amazing, bought it two weeks ago and have not stopped playing. Wish there was the backspin feature, but aside from that it’s just like the arcade version. Definitely challenging as wind and pin placements change. I have also hit nearly every tree in the game.

Such a fun game. I got lucky on this one. I haven’t seen them in stock for a while. Great product, buy it if you can find it!

The instruction to set up were similar to IKEA and easy to follow. We enjoy playing this game.

This is one of Arcade 1UP best cabinets. Did some upgrades already.

I have no issue with Best Buy's customer service. My issue is with this game not working after having it for 3 days without any damage done to it. I like the game itself, it just didn't last long and I've tried the trouble shooting directions given to me and the game still won't turn on. I threw the packaging away, so I guess I'm stuck with another bill: bulk trash removal.

I started seeing the Arcade 1UP machines at local stores. Did some research and saw that they, to my amazement, had Golden Tee as one of the options. The price to quality ratio on these machines is very good in my opinion. I am not bothered by the older Golden Tee games that are included in this machine. I dig the old school graphics and always found the visuals of Golden Tee charming in their own way. The replay value on this game is incredible. The track ball feels good, and the whole kit is a class act and really looks the part. The riser and light up marquee included in this package are icing on the cake. I also like the 3/4 size as it's a good fit and saves space in my game room. Kudos to Arcade 1UP for bringing affordable arcade games to the masses. I could not be happier with this thing. Can't wait to have some buddies over and golf out!

The one that got shipped to me had a bad screen. arcade1up customer support is the worse. There are sitckers all over the item that say do not return to the store and to call this number or go to this website for customer support. I dont like dealing with companies through email because it can take days so i called. The number is an automated system that only tells you to go to the website. There is no option to speak with anyone. pretty anoying. so i returned to a store that had a replacement. return went smooth. the second one works great. game is super fun. my buddies and I play it in my bar area and it is great. highly recommend the item. just dont bother with the customer support with arcade1up.

I caught this classic bad boy at a nice discount. I love every minute of it.

Brings back the memories of my bar days being able to play golden tee golf at home. Very easy to assembly. Great sound and graphics. The light marquee adds the classic touch. The trackball works really well and responsive.

I played the original 20 years ago with friends and forgot how 'it technologies' captured lightening in bottle with Golden Tee. Arcade1up faithfully recreated the arcade experience and finesse; you'll know when you make a good shot or when you flub it, before you see it on screen. If you have any fond memories of Golden Tee, this is a must buy at new lower price. The included riser, lit marque, enhanced screen over gen 1, and better track ball shows Arcade1up is serious about improving. I will say you can't swing away on this like the arcade - and you don't have to. Double thumbs works better and keeps you from smashing your middle finger into the screen.

This cabinet really takes me back to when I used to play this with a buddy on lunch break at a local restaurant back in the early 2000s. Same graphics, sounds, courses, etc. The ball is solid and durable. This is as close as you can get to the real deal cabinet without dropping a few thousand on a used one. Assembly was also pretty easy and didn’t take nearly as long as a few other reviews said it would. Also couldn’t beat the Black Friday price of $350 and free shipping. If you’ve been on the fence about this Arcade1Up cabinet, get off it and go for it. You’ll be really glad you did!

When the box came it looked a little beat up but the contents inside were fine; except for a small crack in one of the boards. The assembly took about 2 hours taking breaks and the instructions were easy to understand. Upon competition, I turned on the game and it was stuck on the loading screen. I emailed Arcade 1up because they do not have customer service via phone or live chat. They sent a procedure via email. I tried it and that didn't work. They ended up sending a new circuit board and shared a link for instructions on how to install it. The video wasn't even someone from Arcade 1up! Just a random YouTuber. So, their customer service is a little dodgy. It was not difficult to install and it ended up working though. I ended up waiting another 10 days for the board, so I wasn't happy about that. (they use UPS ground) The game is totally authentic and I forgot how far graphics have come. Looks really blocky (compared to newer games)but it is genuine and I understood it was retro when I bought it. The biggest thing for me is no backspin. It is much nicer with that feature. But again, it is retro. The volume control is nice and you can even mute it. I think the size is perfect since it does not take up too much space in your game room, bar, etc. The light-up marquees is such a nice feature. Looks really great lit up. Overall, I am satisfied. I think the customer service needs work. They need to have actual humans you can speak to in real time. Other than that, I recommend it, and for the price, it can't be beat.

A quick assemble knowing the end result gives you hours of classic arcade golf with hot seat multi-player. Knocking out a single player is a quick 15/20 minutes and its a perfect break in the day, or relax and set some records for you and your friends to break having a cold one. Got it on sale and worth it. Easy to play but hard to master. NBA Jam is next!

Nice more affordable replica of original game. Was easy to put together. Wish jt came with a matching stoopl, but was able to find one (although it was for the 3D version)

great nostalgic game. only wish the ball could handle the hard hits that the ones in the bars were dealt.

Overall happy and worth the purchase given the price. The gameplay is very similar to the real golden tee (older models). The size is great for home usage and does not take up much space, however the screen is far too close to the rolling ball, and your hand hits the screen on full swing shots due to the compact version. After setting up the originally delivered console, the games kept freezing. The manufacturer was helpful but said the faulty part was on back order, so I had to take the fully assemble console back to Best Buy, which they were great in providing me a new machine.
