Perfect device for watching Netflix on my non SmartTV. I use this everyday to stream Netflix, YouTube, and Vevo to my TV. Very easy to setup and use. Works just as easily with Netflix on my Android phone as it does with Netflix on my Apple iPad. I have another TV that IS a SmartTV and I use one on it so that I may stream my browser to it. Watching tutorials, like Lynda.com, on the big screen is great!

Breaks easily. Not easily portable from tv to tv. Make sure your cell phone is plugged into a charger. Wish it came with its own remote rather than being controlled via phone. If the phone rings and you answer it, the connection is disrupted and you have to start your show over from the beginning sometimes. Also does not easily connect to device and had to call Google support to obtain a connection each time

I have only had this for about a month and it works exceptionally. It will cast your google chrome tab, from your phone or tablet. It is pretty awesome, I just wish more apps on android utilized this feature.

with my previous device, which was plugged into hdmi and then phone was plugged into it, the wires required a little forethought in terms of where I was going to sit and how I would use the room but at least I whatever I did on the phone showed up on the screen. I guess i'm still getting used to the idea that only those apps that are synched up with chrome cast can be viewed on the tv; not any internet browsing, facebook, etc.

I bought one for personal use then purchased 3 more as gifts. I love having the ability to "Cast" content to my televisions. I gave one to my wife to use on her tv. She likes it too! "Chrome Cast" makes it easy!

I can control Netflix or YouTube from my phone, tablet, or computer. Super easy to configure. And outstanding for the price.

The Chromecast showed great potential when it was first released last year. Now that Google's opened up the software development kit to all app developers, that potential has become realized! For $35, you get easy, intuitive access to a wide host of major streaming music and video services (Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, Spotify, Google Play Movies & Music, etc.), 3rd party media apps, and even the ability to CAST YOUR PHONE AND COMPUTER SCREENS onto a full-size HDTV! Did I mention it's only $35?!!

Chromecast is a compelling, innovative option for those who’d like to add online content to their TV. It lacks the breadth of content I've seen on many dedicated streaming media players, but it's inexpensive, easy to set up and use, and virtually invisible behind your TV set. Truly a great little product with a huge potential. I am expecting a lot on the upcoming apps and Google has capability to make this product a huge success.

Just love the simplicity of the Chromecast! I stream all my favorite shows from Hulu and Netflix with this. I especially like to take it on vacations so I can stream at hotels or any TV with an HDMI connection!

It is awesome to be able to stream from different services, especially Plex. I have a great time with friends streaming movies from Plex and videos from YouTube. It's a great purchase and I highly recommend it!

Like what i said above, it only works on certain apps. But for what I use it for it is good enough. I can easily cast netflix, youtube, pandora, songza from my ipad3 or my s3 phone(with occasional stuterring in the videos or movies). If you want something that will mirror everything you do to your tablet look up iView it only works for android devices but goes for $20 which is cheap. Other than that this thing is good enough.

Works great for watching Netflix and the quality is clear and perfect. The only problem is that I can't watch youtube, HBO online streaming, and all other online TV channels it promised from connecting it to my iphone. Although I haven't tried connecting my laptop with the device, so it could possibly do all that it said it would do. If you don't want to buy a smart tv but love watching from Netflix, this device is perfect!

Bought my first streaming device, worked as advertised. Able to watch videos aND Netflix on my TV. Doggle is powered thru USB located on back of my TV. Turns on and off with my Bestbuy InsegNia TV as well..

Absolutely great for streaming media to your TV. There is a little lag with live sports but it plays movies with no issues.

We like the chromcast because it allows you to use the "casting" function, a function that allows you to project what you watch from a smaller device to your tv screen

Super easy to set up and use. Streams with great quality and effortlessly. Plus it can stream any thing from your computer.

great little device not 5 stars cause its limited. Once they let VLC join their approved apps this will def be a 5 star device that will play pretty much all video formats

Chromecast is inexpensive and easy to use and is a great substitute for cable or satellite since you can use Netflix instead.

Easy to install, about 5 - 10 minutes. Awesome for watching videos from my phone. You won't be disappointed with this product.

Was unsure about this at first nut quick set up and ease of use. Wish it would play videos from a on prime but not supported.
