Bought this our bedroom since it's not smart tv. Works great. Love the screen cast feature for androids. Watching Netflix, YouTube, comedy central app, etc. is very easy and nice on the Chromecast.

My son recommed this products and I like it. I can watch what I want through Utube. I CAN watch it through my laptop but can't samsung pad. I dont know why. thanks.

Everything and then some with this piece of technology. I use it at hotels with a Wi-Fi hot spot. No need to worry about finding something to watch on tv anymore.

Chromcast works as advertised. Works on all platforms. stream videos from mobile devices or while browser window with chrome browser from a PC. Does have to be plugged into a power supply though.

We don't have cable, so chromecast felt like an obvious choice. I love that I can come home and stream from my phone, it doesn't even kill my battery like I thought it would. Super glad we got it.

it was a great buy for a low price. My computer is in the shop with a virus but I use my phone to stream Netflix to my tv with this device and it works perfectly.

We had a Sony TV at our old house that was plugged directly into our router. We recently moved and that configuration want possible. The Chromecast is a perfect solution to getting internet to our TV!

This is one of the best things to own. I now have two of them in my house. If you don't have a smart TV you can just get one of these and now you have a smart TV for less. It makes things very convenient.

Used in conjunction with a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4", this device works flawlessly for what I need it for. Streaming Netflix, HBO Go, Hulu Plus, etc. Also, the Chromecast backgrounds are awesome!

Works well when you have a strong internet connection. However we took it on vacation and it wouldn't work at all unless it was on the same floor as the router.

I bought this for streaming o. A tv that doesn't have built in apps.. Works great for that function can stream stuff just fine.. I thought I would try it on a recent trip if was on. It worked ok since I was able to turn my computer into a router with a private network. This will not work if you don't have access to a router in Your room at hotel if the hotels network requires a login page to gain access.

I am an Apple fan, but sometimes they do not have the best product. That was the case with Apple TV. This product is excellent and has great features. It was easy to set up and use, and has more flexibility and the Apple TV. Plus, at $35 (one third the price of AppleTV), I had nothing to lose by trying it. don't get me wrong, each of the products has their benefits, but I highly recommend Google Chromecast.

Love this device. You can instantly zap whatever is on any chrome window on any computer in your network to your TV. You can also cast certain apps on your phone like Netflix, Pandora, etc to your TV which is also great. We swapped out a blu-ray player (that we were only using for netflix) with this device and are very happy with the change, it works much better for netflix. The only issue was that my router required a power cycle to detect the device (I have an older router).

This is really a great product for price and productivity of streaming/casting.

I purchased the Google Chromecast for my husband for his birthday. He is much more tech savvy than I am, and I knew he had been wanting one. He had it set up pretty quickly, and was able to show me how to use it in a matter of minutes. Our friends are pretty impressed with it, and I think they'll be getting ones of their own now that they know how easy it is to use. The product itself is great, and it will be even better once more apps are available to use with it. We love it!

I think this is a $35 item worth what you pay. I have the Android app, the iOS app, the PC app - and I can move the Chromecast from the family room to the den or patio or bedroom easily. More applications like Netflix, need to be made "Chromecast Ready" to make it a really valuable tool, and with what it does now it is priced correctly. If it were priced any higher I am not sure it would represent a good value.

I have had my Apple TV for quite some time, so buying this was just to play around since it was only $35. There really isn't much you can do with it compared to the Apple TV, so I really don't see myself getting any use out of it. I would spend the extra money and go with the Apple TV or other media streaming technology or appliance.

We got this as a gift for my dad and it's neat because we can share videos we see online or watch Netflix together. There is no recurring fee so that is great!
