This is my second chromecast and I would recommend one for each TV in your house! Even if you have smart TVs the chromecast operating system/interface is better than any Smart TV I have ever used.

I travel a lot. Its great to watch things on the road and most hotels have flat panel LCD with open HDMI inputs these days

Operates seamlessly with some of the apps from my iOS devices and directly streams content from Netflix and Youtube without the initiating device's help. Can project any web page that can be viewed on the Chrome browser. Would be great to have it stream from other apps such as Quicktime that can play local content. Would make a great teaching tool if it would support Powerpoint and other productivity apps.

It was on sale and we were going to buy anothe Apple TV for our other room , but we tried the chrome, and it works great! The price is way cheaper, and it connects to your apple phone or iPad.

I have an Apple TV at $99 dollars that does the same thing. But $25 dollars just plug it in and download the Chrome app and away you go watching HD and sound on your TV. No Cords or remotes to lose or batteries to change. Now you can play your Phone Apps on your Big TV. I can't wait until new add-ons are added to the Chomecast. I think one of the best products that came out this Christmas 2014. Thank you for making it so cheap that everyone can afford one. Hint Hint Apple.

I wanted to watch my movies from my cellphone to my tv. This device did that. And now exploring other options I can do with it, it exceeded my expectations.

Great dongle for casting your streaming media (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc). Some disparity on which devices support what, but overall great support and continued development of compatible technologies and apps will keep it relevant for years to come. Functions nearly perfectly, with only occasional hiccups like signal drops or required router resets to activate. The extremely low price is great for all of the things it can do and offsets any occasional annoyances.

Chromecast is the greatest invention since sliced bread. I have four in my house and we have disconnected from satellite network. With a chromecast, we can watch anything on our big screen - via Netflix or each broadcasters web site. Everyone can watch something different simultaneously. Highest recommendation

The installation of the chromecast was very easy, with easy to follow on screen directions. Was up and running in no time. Also very easy to navigate and use.

Probably one of the best things you could buy for under 50 bucks. Interfaces great, quick setup, no problems yet.

Chromecast Is great. I can't compare it to its competitors but it does everything it promises well. With Google Play and then all the other ways you can watch videos online I use it all the time.

Wanted to watch Netflix in the bedroom and this is great. One time payment for the device and can control everything with my phone app. Won't keep running all day so it doesn't waste your battery

Google Chomecast is a great low priced gadget enabling you to project images and video from google enabled apps to your large screen TV. It essentially makes your non-smart, app-less TV, SMART!

I appreciate the simplicity of the device and the features it provides. I look forward to Google pushing it further in the future. For now, it is a fun toy with useful features when on the go.

this device wireless broadcasts what you have on your apps to the tv. very useful if you want to throw away the wires or not have a large device. excellent app to use with it is VideoStream on pc

Since smart tvs are here I was looking for an inexpensive way for my son to watch Netflix on his 32" no smart tv. Google chromecast is cheap and did the trick

For the price good device easy to use and set up did not work with my Samsung tablet

This is the best overall streaming device I have ever owned. Fast and does not lag as much as the other previous devices I had. For the price of this, you can' t beat it or find anything better.

I got this on the advice of a friend, and it was very easy to set up and works great! Streams videos very well.
