I used this for my sons first TV. This allowed me to give him TV access without having to add another monthly charge for a cable box to his room. Well worth the price.

I absolutely love being able to share what I am watching on my mobile phone or my Microsoft Surface on the larger screen of my television! This is an amazing procuct!

I give it 4 stars because of one feature that should be added, video streaming with output device audio. Other than that, it's great!

The Chromecast allows video to be streamed from a variety of websites directly to our TV. It shows Hulu Plus perfectly, with control from my iPad. It shows websites from a browser on a computer, which is somewhat clunky, depending on how much data that website is using. It can show pictures from a mobile device, with some hiccups regarding orientation. Frankly, the streaming of Hulu Plus made this worth it for us.

Got this to try it out, and now am getting one for each of my TVs! It is very user friendly and is a great purchase for people who watch netflix. Downside- it sometimes goes offline, or my iPhone doesn't connect, have to reset it which is frustrating when your in the middle of a show or movie. This hasn't happened so often that I won't use it though.

I love this item!!! I can cast anything from my Galaxy Tab 4 tablet. I love to see Netflix Movies and series in HD. Also, I can cast my screen. Is an awsome product.

The Chromecast is a great idea with a great future at a great price. Right now the capabilities are just too limited of what it can cast to. For the best results, you need a PC running with Google Chrome and it will just shoot that website/video/music to your Chromecast/TV. In summary, it works great to stream from a PC but does not work good without a PC.

We were looking at getting an HDMI cable, but then chose this and couldn't be happier. You can browse other tabs while streaming your desired tab to your TV, you can set up queues, it's really much more versatile than an HDMI cable, and you have the freedom to get up and move around - you aren't tethered to your TV in order to stream. Quality of the video was great, really depends on your internet connection.

It works as it says. It can lag from time to time, but those are small hiccups. Works best if you have Google or Samsung product(s).

Chromecast is very easy to set up. Theres assistance available also. The cast quality is good. You can use more than one device also.

If you need to stream something from your phone to the T.V. This is the product for you. Also, best buy does price match garuntee so instead of $35 I got it for $30.

We initially purchased this just to stream a couple of sporting events, but didn't realize its capabilities. Now we use it all the time & even take it on vacation!

This costs half the price of the Apple TV and we can watch movies from the laptop onto our TV just as well...good value!

Great device, I would recommend it to anyone looking to get Netflix or HBO GO running on their TV or Monitor. It's does almost everything I want (not Amazon prime.... yet), but at such a cheap price, it's basically an impulse buy. I think everyone in America should have this device if they have a netflix account. It just works.

This product wasn't what I was expecting. It just mirrors what you have on your computer screen. It didn't work with SlingTV or with my iPad/iPhone. There aren't any apps on the Chromecast like the box suggests. I ended up returning it. I have heard it works well it you have an Android device but I haven't had first hand experience with that.

i don't use this as most do. i mainly use it to send my desktop screen to my 65 inch vizio so i can share what im doing with family.

Seems easier on I phone than my android or PC but still not bad. Pretty amazing; just plugs in!

good product, reasonably priced. sometimes it takes a little longer to load, but that could be due to the phone and not the product.

great way to watch utube and homemade viedos. The only thing iI am disappointed is I use an app for my coaching track and it will not let me strem them to my big tv.
