Works awesome with screen mirror functioning. Does not have apps built in but you can do so much with this using your smartphone.

Me and my friend bought this device and we both like it. Before I have to use a cable to connect my phone to the 47" screen tv but now I dont have to.anymore. Love it

I was paying $70 for cable and looking for away to break out from that bill. Google Chromecast allows me to take advantage of Netflix, HBO Go and anything on YouTube. I have been without cable for a month and don't miss it at all. I used to do the HDMI cable thing in college but this seems like a far better quality picture and despite being wireless, i've never had a problem with buffering while streaming.

This is great when you don't have a smart tv. I am just learning, so I can't give it a great review, but what I have done I like.

I got rid of my cable for this device. Love it! Works through my surround sound. Only wish there was an all in one app so that I could view all my media in one place.

A great way to have an extra tv in the house without having to pay for a cable box. I stream from my phone using apps, you tube etc.

It does a good job. I would buy it again. The only problem i saw is that when i playback video from the browser it can be choppy.

I purchased this for myself two years ago and then have purchased three more as gifts! Works great and low cost!

Great for watching Netflix movies. Great way to view pictures. Easy to use and set up.

We just celebrated out 50th wedding anniversary and used this to show some 50 years of pictures on our 55" TV for our guest during the celebration. Great product.

I love using it for Netflix and Hulu and there are even some third party apps that work with it too. I even bought my parents one so they could watch Netflix too.

I love my Chromecast so much. This is the second one I bought. This one is for my living room. I hardly use cable anymore. Great first step to cutting the cord.

Chromecast is a great alternative to other streaming devices. It works great with both Android and iOS. Additionally you're able to cast from your PC/Mac using Google Chrome (still in beta). Love the device and now that the SDK has been released to developers, you're going to see a lot more programs having the cast feature. At $35, it's a steal!! Well done Google. If you're using Plex, it's a must have!!

I bought it as a X'mas gift for my daughter who loves surfing internet for You-Tubes films. This is a great choice and she bought another one for her friends too.

I love Chromecast. I decided to get it for my parents for their streaming to be a bit easier. They love it. We can even cast from the desktop, which is great!

I mostly just needed this because I couldn't get HBO Go on my ps4 for some reason! And I mean come on.........Game of Thrones!

I personally prefer the Roku device over the Chromecast simply due to channel availability and compatibility with more devices.

I really like my new purchase of chromecast device. It does what it promises. It brings all smart features I needed to my TV.

This thing is awsome. Im always streaming youtube to my t.v. Its at a great price too!

I absolutely love being able to watch all of the shows and movies with my Chromecast. It's user friendly as well.
