Like it love it. Instructions on line on how to make it work though were a LITTLE iffy but after some anxiety now it is lovely.

have one of these of my own and its a great device for streaming from apps such as netflix, hulu, etc. however, it doesn't always work as it should. there are compatibility issues with routers. make sure your router will work with it first before purchase. would surely choose this over any other devices like the amazon fire stick.

Easy to setup and easy to use but more transferred to the TV screen than desired. You cannot get full screen picture on the TV.

I got this device when it first came out. For the price, it's tough to argue. Does Netflix and YouTube fine. Casting Chrome Tabs worked intermittently, especially when doing heavily changing content like video. I think there is too much WiFi traffic for my network. This device will only get better as more services support it.

it works intermittently, need to restart when binge watching. wifi connectivity issues i am guessing. when it works, its great!

I was really hoping that the chromecast could mirror android devices, but that functionality isn't there yet. From what I've read, that's coming soon (2014?). If you think of this as an add-on device or TV adapter, it works great! I have other options for watching/consuming the same services and applications offered by Chromecast, so it's not a primary appliance in my home entertainment system. I would recommend this product to anyone without other options (another media device such as a gaming console, smart TV or another media appliance)

I bought a light weight computer without an HDMI port so I couldn't stream movies on to the tv without the chrome cast. It also works amazing on phones too

Laptop is getting hot super.. Cannot keep laptop on lap while doing chrome streaming.. But otherwise looks a decent device..

I thought I'd be able to project anything from my PC to my TV. It turns out it only works with certain apps like You Tube and Netflix. I have Verizon Fios for my cable provider and I can watch tv on my mobile devices but I was hoping to project tv shows to my tv but no such luck. Hopefully future downloads/upgrades will allow this in the future.

Chromecast has been performing very good,with very minor lagging on mirrorcast. Free $20 google play credit and retail price below $25 made it a super purchase.

This were a gift and they love The chrome and special because they were for KIDS room and they can watch their stuf

works as expected. there are other models now that are nicer and have more features but this model did well.

You should totally get this model if you want to save money and still get a good quality product. This first generation works just as fine as the new one.

Great way to watch your iPad, iPhone or laptop on your TV. Only negative is that I couldn't get it to work with Amazon Instant Video. Otherwise, great purchase.

Used to stream apps from iPad to TV, or from chrome on laptop. Still waiting for full streaming from chrome app on iOS though.

Love using it and it works well. Specially when I want to shiw my videos or pics from my travels with my friends or family. It's almost like family movie time!!

The Chromecast is very easy to set up and works as advertized. Even though my TV is at the farthest room from the router, I always get a good connection and the picture is great. I am waiting for them to be available again so that I can order another unit for my living room TV. The only negatives are that (1) there should be more compatible apps and (2) that it should be compatible with 5 GHz wifi signals.

Easy to install. Great price. Wish I looked into chromecast when it first came out.

It is easy to set up and work's fantastic. It was the first device that I have tried to use to stream from my laptop or phone and the way it work's is great.

This thing is just downright awesome. What more could you want out of such a little package?! Granted, it might be lacking in useful apps, but for what I wanted it for (Netflix and HBOgo) it works perfectly. The only downside to the Chromecast would be range - especially with a wireless device. If your not within 20' of the Chromecast, it won't work, but they state that. Can't go wrong with a $35 item.
