For people who don't have a pc, or are very pc savy, they should get something like a Roku. This one is for advanced pc users.

Just recently purchased it and it was so easy too install and figure out . I love being able too cast what im doing too my tv in just seconds . Hight recommend

A great device to see many videos and so much more with a variety of devices to connect to and not feel limited or have to deal with so much wiring or plugs.

Absolutely love it. Works like it is supposed to and I plan on going back soon and buying one for every other tv in the house.

This device is great for anything you want to stream from you computer to TV or any HDMI capable monitor. You have to use Google chrome web browser on your computer, it will not work with any other web browser. It also stream from your smartphone as well. Great device with simple installation and does what it said.

Perfect for almost all TV apps. I wish it could cast music from my phone'so library without an overly expensive app purchase

I have this on all my non-smart TVs in the house. I can access my slingbox through my iPad then connect to chromecrast on a bigger TV. Worth the purchase.

At our business the employees with Apple laptops use Airplay to replicate and present wirelessly to our conference big screen. I picked up the Chromecast to do this for the windows group. BIG DISCLAIMER: the feature that I use is listed as beta (though to be fair Google does that a lot...remember Gmail). Anyway, this works so its ok for powerpoint presentations where you can talk around the lag, but the lag is quite noticeable and distracting (vs. the airplay which is much faster). Still, a great solution for the price. Oh, one other thing is that this device needs usb power (I don't believe most HDMI provides enough power), so if the monitor/tv does not have a jack you will need to connect it to something to power it (with the wire hanging down).

It's pretty good most of the time, but when it spools sometimes it will stop on my TV. I have to go to my bedroom and restart it.

So far... Cheapest way so far to be able to mirror Netflix streaming unto TVs wirelessly.

It is good if you have the perfect WiFi I'm not going to give it a lower rating because I got nothing to judge it when I cant use it just yet but its good!

Easy setup and quick from box to operational. Works better than the Roku it replaced.

I wanted this for both google play and to stream other videos. It took a little work but was great when i had it working.

I have it plugged in the TV in the living room, Netflix, HBO GO, Youtube, Google Play Music, Twitch.TV, etc... All of them work very well, very happy with it.

Good so far...but does disconnect at times. So you have to turn off then on to reconnect.

My my what has Google done now. They have come up with the greatest thing ever. It was so easy to set up and use. I was able to use my TV just like a second monitor. We planned our vacation by showing my kids YouTube videos and specifics about Disney World. They love watching movies and it is easy to install and operate.
