I was able to connect it fairly easily. But I then found out it is not compatible with iTunes and many other sites. Even the free trial of Hulu Plus didn't work well, as the picture was jerky, even though the sound was ok. Very disappointing. Their advertising should be more accurate and specific.

This is a cool little gadget, but it needs some work. When the internet is slow it become almost useless,

Easy to install and use on the devices. The TV has to be turned up loud (100) for decent sound quality.

From the minute I openned the box it was as easy as could be, not hard to understand, work or control. It's so easy to use even my 8 year old can work with it. It's easy for the whole family to see what happened to someone in the families day with the ease of turning on a smartphone, tablet or laptop. I got this on sale but I would easily pay more than I did.

i bought this as a gift for my brother so he can put stuff on his tv for his son. made his life easy.

Bought for my mother when she had knee surgery and was limited to moving about the house. Was an ok purchase and she learned how to use it. If it wasn't so cheap I likely would have taken back and gotten the Roku 2 or Roku 3 which has more features and would allow her to watch netflix or other "channels" without having to run the app from her phone or tablet.

Great product. We have 1 tv with no cable hookup, connected the chromecast to that tv, lots of extra viewing, love it. Highly recommend

It has been reliable and works well. You do need to be somewhat caution of placement to avoid drop outs.

This item give me one alternative more with my TV, internet and cable system. Now I am working in my next project with this new device.

Chromecast is literally the best thing invented to be partnered with a smartphone and a non smart TV! No need to buy a smart TV Now, when you can stream Netflix, Hulu, YouTube etc...for a decent purchase price! Can't beat that! Easy to setup and use. Would recommend it to anybody!

Does exactly what i wanted it to do,and a few things i didn't know it could do. Casting from my phone,tablet and computer work great.

Advertisements did not mention that your TV had to be within 20 feet. Mine TV is located at other end of house. Needless to say, I paid $35 for something I can't use. Wonder why the 20 foot is not mentioned until after you buy it? ( I carried TV into computer room to test) :( Works well if your TV is close.

Love it! Got it for my husband.. We don't have cable but he streams content from his country (Uruguay) on to our desktop .. This is amazing can watch on our big tv and for my child we stream netflix! No plan on getting cable anytime soon!

The Google Chromecast device is amazing!!! It shows your computer screen on a TV just as advertised. We use it on more than 1 set and both work great. Setup was very easy and ,by following the directions, quick. We use it tablets and it works fine. You can download the Chromecast app from the Google Play store to your tab or phone for easier operation.

My son suggested this for his wife. I didn't no anything about the Google Chromecast. Apparently it is working out great. She loves it!
