Only complaint is that it only does 720P, lots of apps, works with smartphone, tablet also

This is a great way to watch whatever you want with the most popular apps! I use it for both my TVs. Cheapest way to cast.

The product was very easy to setup and operate. Instructions were easy to follow. We were using the device within minutes.

Chrome cast is great for watching movies or YouTube videos on your TV without having to use cables and adapters to connect your computer or phone to the TV set. It is not compatible with all websites and players, like iTunes, but works smoothly with Netflix for example. Setting up is easy and I haven't had any problems with it so far.

Great little gadget for viewing web content such as Youtube on your TV. Plug and play with setup prompts on your TV when both your computer or phone and the Chromecast are connected to your WiFi. Wish it had a USB input for viewing your personal media content from a memory stck, etc.

This product sets up easily and quickly. You are ready to stream within minutes of opening the box. Price isn't horrible, but wouldn't mind it being $5-$10 less, since in some cases you have to pay for product that is streaming too. Overall, a great product. I would recommend this.

Great item, I use it with hola vpn in México to stream from my computer to my hdtv and work pretty well, fully recommended

Got it for Christmas, it was very easy to set up. functions very well. Was able to interface with my HP Tablet running Windows 8.1, I was also able to download the APP on my iPhone and iPad and they performed great as well. I didn't like some of the limitations (Certain apps, certain services) but All in All a pretty good Buy for $35.

Too taxing on the wifi for it to cast something like dish that's streaming to a laptop in the first place, but for showing basic screen it's fine. The resolution is not good on a large tv since it's basically stretching what's showing on a smaller screen. I haven't used any dongles to make use of OTT with this, so can't weigh in on that.

After owning one for nearly two years and giving them as gifts several times, I decided to add my own firm recommendation.

The gogle chrome cast is the best TV streaming in the market. It very easy to use. It makes a simple TV become smarter.

My kids would not want to live without this! Allows us all to share our videos and movies. And has helped us cut cable!!

Better than I thought and it works with s6 now, I can see everything that my phone has on my big screen! Well worth it!

Chromecast is absolutely awesome for price. Occasionally it lags but they could be my internet.

This device rocks. Setup was a breeze. Only wished it had 5 GHz or wireless AC capabilities.

This has lot of apps so you can watch hulu, Netflix and other things like that on it. Very easy to connect and install.

Sometimes the streaming is a bit slow... but it is pretty great for a wireless connection.

This product saved me over $100! I get poor wireless reception in my basement and I have considered purchasing another wireless router or a repeater! When this product was released my problem was solved for $35! the best part about it is you can use it on any TV and you can stream from your phone or laptop! definitely worth the money!

Had problems connecting this and playing things off it. I think it is my internet though because a couple of my friends have their own and they haven't had any problems. I really should have taken it to their place and tried it there but instead I returned it. I would say if you don't have really good internet service not to get one.
