I can only steam from Google Chrome using my Windows computer, my Apple products do not have an extension to download and can only steam YouTube, Netflix, Hulu etc. Its a great Idea and cheap. but a copy of Apple TV and does have connection interruptions. over all B+

Everyone should own at least one of these. For the price you get an all inclusive entertainment experience.

Very low cost, easy to install and operate. Works great with Windows computers however limited to Youtube and Netflex with their google's own Nexus. I gave mine to a friend since my main use was to stream vodeos and photos from my Nexus. Google, you got to be kidding!

For the price, this is an amazing streaming device for netflix and such. I purchased it as a gift for the Inlaws so they could use it for netflix and Amazon Prime as they had issues with set top box interfaces but liked their tablets. Very easy and fast streaming of supported applications. I had thought however that it would stream any Chrome browser window on Andriod tablets, however this is not the case for anything but PC/Mac platform. Streaming performance from PC chrome browser was acceptable but not fast, using multiple new laptops and two different high end routers, but netflix was very smooth when cast. Overall, I would recommend this device, great for the price, just make sure of what you want to use it for.

The Google Chromecast is a great way to have all of your visual media located on your TV. All you need is wifi!

Wish it was more compatible with Apple products...

This will be better when there are more compatibility to apps, would be nice if streaming on computer was available. There are third party apps that will allow treating, however they buffer more than usual. Overall, worth it if you have TVs connected to a cable box

Took 5 minutes out of the box to get it all connected and hooked to WiFi. After downloading the app it was a piece of cake to cast my screen and watch what I wanted right off my phone! Sound is good, but the video can lag sometimes and alot of apps won't let you cast your screen. Still a perfect addition to my household.

The start up is a little tricky and time consuming but after that it's awesome.

I purchased this device to cast content from my cell phone and pc content to my HDTV. It is an old HDTV without any SMART features. This device converted my TV into SMART TV and I have been enjoying content from mobile device easily and in great quality. Definitely recommend this product.

Chromecast makes streaming so much easier. I own two of these one for the living room and one for the bedroom. I can pause a show in my bedroom and start it in my living room by switching it in the app. I mainly use it to cast Netflix and Hulu but I started to cast chrome tabs. Good little product worth the $35.

The chromecast is a great product and is definitely worth the money. I am able to stream my local content (as long as it's in the right format) to my TV without needing a smart TV. Now that it's open to developers, I expect more and more apps to become compatible and that will only make the chromecast more useful!

Apps crash, especially WatchESPN, and Crackle.....

When it works, its awesome. But it doesn't always work consistently or accurately.
