Very interesting and easy-use device. Netflex and youtube are terrific. However, youtube in iphone does not show very good resolution. Expect more applications supporting the device. It would be terrific to cast the complete desktop to a screen.

Just added a 2nd to another TV. A must for android users. App support much better since release.

Works great so far for streaming. Screensaver features are nice also

I currently have two of these, (one in my bedroom, and one in the living room.) I can personally say, this is the easiest, and cheapest way to make any T.V. a smart T.V. The two that are hooked up do not interfere with one another, and they have outstanding quality for both of them.

This thing plugs into an hdmi input and allows you to send images and sound to the tv. Pretty nifty. It allows interesting stuff from the computer to be viewed on the TV via wifi. Does not take the place of a Roku streamer. It's different

Chromecast is an easy way to stream internet video to your TV from almost any source. I love it.

We have a TV that is three years old and did not come with Netflix preinstalled. It works great.

This is perfect for someone who doesn't want to pay for cable tv.

I love that I can just send videos from my phone to the TV and still be be able to use my phone for whatever I want. Way more simple than having a bunch of remotes, as I also use my phone as the TV remote. The only real con I'd say is that is also has to be plugged into power to work.

This was fantastic. It does exactly what it is supposed to. Streams the internet to your tv. The only issue I have with it is my computer will occasionally not pick up the signal, and I have to reset the wifi. We use multiple computers with it, and its easy to add the app to your computer.

Screen mirroring works well on my Galaxy Tab 4 running Android 4.4.

Unlike Roku or Firestick, this Chromecast stick does not have a separate remote. Instead, you have to download all of the apps you want to stream on your smartphone and sync with your chrome stick and the shows you watched will then be controlled by your phone. This worked for 3 weeks, then the Hulu app on my phone would no longer sync with the Chromecast stick. There is no customer service number in the box to call to resolve this issue. Spend a few more dollars and get a Roku stick with its own remote with Apps included.

It is just a great device. Google Chromecast makes directions very easy to follow and easy to use!

The best buy person was unfortunately not correct about it. It works well with Ipad, iphone and other platforms. Works great for streaming videos through Youtube, Hulu, netflix and Chrome browser. I haven't had much time to try other applications but not much else works for my knowledge.
