Great way to watch tv, it would be perfect if it had a remote!

Works great for streaming from certain devices however I wish more apps could connect to it and more devices. For instance, my Microsoft Surface Pro 2 can not use the play feature on it. That would be a nice feature to include.

This was something I was dying to get ever since I had heard of it, mainly due to the fact that I'm a bit of a Youtube and Netflix addict. I was hoping to stream music from my server, or perhaps even videos; currently, Google has the methods of streaming locked down to a few avenues. Youtube, Netflix, and Google Music all work great, but I can't really get much other use out of it. That said, for the low price they're asking, it's a great option for those who do not have a "Smart TV" and wish to have the ability to watch expanded content on their network without excessive power use. All in all, I would definitely buy this again, but I really hope that Google plans on opening up the ways to communicate with this device, and allow me to stream from my home network rather than just the internet.

This is a great idea from Google and gets the job done on the couple of available things but it needs to have more apps and allow playing media from LAN, if this is truly going to have an edge over competition e.g Aipplay, roku, etc.

accessing photos from my computer tru chromecast is very limited

Had a little trouble setting up at first. Was able to enjoy after that process was over.

I bought two Chromecasts when they were released and use on 2 different TVs. For the price you can beat them; just needs more ubiquitous application support. Now it is a limited number of applications (e.g. chrome, youtube, netflix).

Gave it away, but they said it works great and like it a lot.

Great product, this was my second one for myself and have bought two for family members.

I bought the Chromecast to stream watchespn to the TV wirelessly and it works perfectly.

Does everything it advertises plus more. I have a Samsung G4 that works perfect with it.

Very good item... It does exactly what it's suppose to do.

It is very simple to set up and works well for what I needed it for. However, even though my computer is only about 8 to 10 ft away there is buffering and lag time issues. But this is more of a distraction than a frustration.

With the more apps that support chromecast the better this thing will be. I haven't compared the price between smart TV's and non-smart TV's but I think this is a better option than spending extra for a smart TV. I've dropped my cable subscription since buying a chromecast.
