This does a great job of streaming from your laptop or mobile device to your tv. Mobile devices have to have apps like youtube or hulu plus or netflix to be useful for them. Otherwise you cant stream from mobile devices. Great quality for the ones i listed above but normal sites sometimes arent that great. You have to have full screen up for any sites other than the apps that arent compatible. You can solve this by alt tabing after you go to full screen. Im a little disappointed bc i dont really use the above apps that much so i dont get as much use out of this product. It is good for the price though.

The setup looked to have gone well, but it didn't work the first time. It said that it connected to my wireless network, but could not reach the internet. Chromecast support listed many error messages, but not this one. I had to reset the device for it to finally work. The first time around I changed the name of the device as it says that you can, but I think that caused the issue. After resetting the device I left the name alone and it worked without an issues. Not sure exactly what the problem was. I did restart my router when I had the initial problem, so I don't think it was the network.

Works fine when and if I can get my Google Chrome to work with windows 10.

This is a great alternative way of viewing your mobile/tablet/laptop content on a TV for your guests to see. Although the applications to use Chromecast are limited, this HDMI Player is still pretty cool! I'm sure apps will be available as the months go by.

Plug and play very simple all you need is a google account and reliable WiFi.

Don't be discouraged by negative reviews. This is an in expensive alternative to stream to your TV. Set up took us a while but maybe it won't take you as long.

I can't do without this. I cut my cable because of this. I don't miss cable!

I brought this product so I could watch things on my big screen instead of my laptop or Ipad. So far, it's been a great experience for all of the uses I have come up with. I would recommend this product to anyone.

This is by far the cheapest option to make any TV a little smarter. Supported apps are being added all the time and it makes watching videos a lot more enjoyable than watching on mobile devices.

It works well and gets the job done easily. The only issue I've noticed was. not sure it's happening only to my TV or a common issue... The casting disconnects in between. Apart from that it's a nice product.

Very easy to set up and use, just plug one end into and hdmi port and the included USB into a port for power go through the very simple setup and you're streaming in not time from your smartphone or chrome browser.

For a non-Smart TV, this is a great way to play Youtube videos, Netflix, etc.
