Great invention and I live the fact that I can cast my screen onto the TV.

I think the Chromecast is a awesome tool for information and entertainment purposes. I use this on a daily bases and have one on all my TV's and bought one to keep at my parents home when I visit. I highly recommend it to all my friends and family.

This thing is great. It plays all media and music as well as you tube and the internet. I am on school and have to watch online e videos. I have been using the chromecast to stream them to my tv. It is much easier to watch the TV than a small laptop.

I love this thing it's great. I can cast stuff from my computer or tablet and I can still use the tablet. The only thing that isn't clear from the packaging is that there is a power cord that you have to plug in. This is not very good because I have all my cords in the wall except for this cord which is not very pretty. I don't want to bury the power cord in the wall because I like moving the Chromecast to other TVs so it would be way better if it could get power from the HDMI port (might not be possible). Also, there is a bright white LED on the Chromecast which is always on when it's plugged in. It's so bright it lights up the room at night even when the TV is off. That's pretty annoying and completely unnecessary.

We are using it with Nexus 7 tablet and android phones and it works great.

Easy set use . No complications great to watch what you have on your phone to your television.

This inexpensive device plugs into your HDTV if it has HDMI. Then you can stream audio and video from your iOS or Android mobile device. Netflix looks great when I stream from iPad or iPhone to my Samsung HDTV. I sometimes play Pandora on my mobile device and stream the sound to my TV which is connected to a Yamaha stereo. The sound is great. The set up was easy and using it is very intuitive. My only disappointment is that this is not a universal streaming device. Only apps that have been upgraded to provide a chromecast can be used. YouTube, Netflix, Pandora and others do work and I hope more will follow. Since this is not an Apple product I suppose that it will never be able to show everything from an Apple mobile device.

Got this before Christmas on sale for $25. So far it is working out great.

I can't possibly recommend the Chromecast enough. The ease of doing anything from watching YouTube, Netflix, Google Play Movies, or just listening to some music from Pandora or Google Music as you do some chores around the house is unparalleled.

Its a great gadget if you are the type who watches movies all the time. At first we were very excited because we wanted to watch movies from my mac to the tv so we figured we would get an hdmi cord and connector. Went to best buy to get said items and was convinced that the chromecast was better. Came home and watched 2 movies back to back and had no issues. After that we have been having lots of issues. Its always buffering and lags most of the time. Movie plays great on the mac without casting but once you start casting you will be annoyed on how many times it buffers and stops.
