Best tech I have purchased in 10 years.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a PC sitting behind the flat panel in my kitchen so that I could watch Netflix there and view recipes. Now I have this little 2 inch dongle there and no more clutter. I have recommended it to all of my friends and colleagues.

Remarkable device for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent device for the money. It frees me from having to watch my netflix choices on a computer monitor and enhances my listening experience to 5.1 surround sound for movies and music. My only cause to cite a negative is the audio compatibility. Chromecast sends Dolby Digital + to the receiving source. Yet if that receiver is not able to decode DD+ the only output is two channel stereo. Apparently, ChromeCast is not backward compatible with DD ProLogic or PL II. I felt that to have the video broadcast to my flat-screen LED without 5.1 surround sound was unacceptable so I upgraded my A/V receiver to one compatible with DD+ and have been extremely happy with the results. The ChromeCast is very simple to setup and has performed flawlessly. Easily a 5-star product..............

Works great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this so could easily play my google play movies on my tv. Its works well, and its handy having my tablet work as my remote. The content can seem a little lagging when playing though.

Nice to have for streaming content
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The chromecast is great for those days where you're sitting on your bed and want to watch youtube on a larger screen than your phone. The thing holding it back is the lack of supported apps.

Works well for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Use this to stream internet video to tv. Would be better if all internet content could be streamed from mobile device, but can do it from a laptop. Netflix and YouTube work well from iPhone.

Works great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Use it to stream YouTube videos to my TV. Was a bit confused at first on how it setup. (Acts as a wireless access point and my phone connected to it, just for the setup) Took 5 minutes to get setup and smooth sailing after there.

Nice way to streaming to your TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a smart way to add video streaming to almost any TV. However, it is currently very limited on what it can do. YouTube, Netflix, etc. Wait a few months and we should see developers add more apps to interact with this device.
