Easy to set up and great for transferring from ipad to watch netflix, huluplus and Hbo to go without having to buy smart tv. Had to get wifi booster to decrease buffering.

Chromecast is useful if you don't really have room for a DVD player or a cable box. Broadcasting in HD, you can turn your tablet, phone or computer into a player for your TV. Very satisfied and very nice price!

before i had to have the laptop close to tv so i could run cables for video and audio, had to get up and down to operate laptop, now it so much easier can just sit in chair

We already had one but my kids kept moving it to the other tv so we bought a second one. Makes it nice to not have to mess with the HDMI cords & the quality of the picture is better than going through HDMI

Easy to set up, easy to use. Mostly used for Netflix, but video quality looks great and I haven't had any connection issues. For the price, it is excellent. I'd recommend this at $50... for $35 it's a no brainer.

This is a ultimate device to stream vedios and pictures from laptop chrome browser. I know this works great with the mobile apps only. It needs to be improved to use chrome browser through Mobiles and Tablets.

Works great for streaming from my cell or laptop. It would be even better if it could mirror your computer. It is tied to netflix, youtube, chrome browser, and some others. Extremely pleased for the price

Chrome cast is easy to install and works well. It's nice to be able to watch instant netflix. I would recommend this to anyone.

I wanted something that wouldn't make me have to pay for everything I watched. Anything you can get through Chrome on windows you can cast ro your tv. Will also work with android through utube or other sites.

The unit it self is a nice affordable alternative to paying a cable bill. I just wish that it would work with more basic free aps because the utube videos take a little time to find something you can watch.

You almost can do everything with chromecast on TV. Although apple tv is good. Chromecast is more convenient and cheap to get for almost doing same thing.

I have really enjoyed using my chromecast. It has done everything it is advertised to do. I do wish it had its own platform instead of using your devices platform only but other than that I have no compalints.

I was looking for a user friendly interface to show family pictures via a laptop on a TV and this fit the bill perfectly. The setup was very straight forward and we were using it within 5 minutes of unboxing it.

Great device as long as you know it has no GUI or remote. Highly recommend for anyone with smartphone or tablet who wants to stream Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc. to a dumb TV.

For $35, this is a great way to watch netflix and the other apps on your tv! Connects easily and you are up and running in no time. I have used it with Apple and Samsung phones and no problem with either.

Chromecast is the best dongle for streaming media on the market. The apps are being developed so we just need to give it time to catch up to roku and Apple which have more apps now, but are just too expensive

So I ordered one of these Chromecasts on the first day they were released from Google. Once I got it, it was almost TOO easy to set up. Plug the dongle into the TV or Surround Sound and then power it up using the included USB cable and the wall plug, then turn on the TV/Surround Sound. It has very easy to use on-screen directions on the TV that you set up using a iPhone, Android or computer. As long as you have some kind of Wi-Fi signal in your home, then this can be connected to it to "cast" pictures, videos, movies, music, even games, straight to your TV from your phone or computer. It's awesome for being lazy and watching Netflix or playing music at a party. So many uses that I can't even being to list on here !
