I no longer have to pay for expensive cable. Instead I just use the chromecast device and watch tv from my laptop. Its easy and convenient for everyone. Its also simple to use. Really great for the price.

Effortless connection, comfortable viewing of laptop, camera, video camera and tablet on larger TV screen. Most hotels now have flat-screen TVs, almost all have an HDMI slot on the back, side or both. Nice!

This product is an easy to use alternative for those that don't have a Smart TV or a next gen gaming console.Now that Google has released the Chromecast SDK a lot more applications will work with the product.

It has great potential but needs more compatible apps. Specially own video collection from smartphone and laptop. Quality of the product is very good but it freeze often.

I definitely would recommend this to anyone who enjoys entertainment in film and tv. I particularly like the ease of use... Just plug and play. (And it's not yet another thing to sit on the tv stand. 5 Stars!

This little tool is easy to setup and pair with your computer. The only thing is you have to pay a monthly subscription to Google Music and that's what this device uses if you want to play music over your TV.

got this to stream netflix in the bedroom, great little device that doesn't take up much space. I wish it didn't need a separate power cord, which was not shown in the commercials but it's not a deal breaker.

The price is just over the top 35 bugs no where close to the price of a PS or Xbox. Definitely a good run for my hard earned money. Plus its easy to use and works well.

Love the fact that I can display from tablet onto large screen tv Sucks that I cannot display anything from tablet, there are limited apps that u can cast to tv like netflix pandora n utube that's pretty much it. I've only hav the device for less than a month and it goes really slow at time , won't ever fully load at times, and will say some vids can't be cast to tv....pretty annoying....but I don't hav cable so I utilize this device daily amd would still recommend just wish it would work consistently.

Cannot beat the price for this gadget, but be aware that there is no apple tv type interface. You have to download an app then "cast" the video from your device to the TV.

This was a very simple setup. My parents set this up and they are not good with new technology. Now they get to enjoy YouTube and HBO Go and a variety of different things this wonderful device has to offer.

The Google Chromecast is a cheap way to make your TV smart and there are few mainstream apps that support it. Best product for entertainment with very low price. I would definitely recommend this device.

Love that I can watch streamed movies or anything else for that matter and beam it from my tablet or computer to any TV that I have the Google Chrome plugged into...even my regular computer screen stuff!

Used this with my little nephew and was able to stream barney youtube videos. awesome with netflix and flixster. Im glad i purchased this. already recommended it to a few friends. especially those with kids

It is flawless with a few apps, however the majority of available apps have issues. Not to mention, there are really a few in total. Besides that I love this product.

I primarily bought this item to work with my plex media server, and it did not . It was great at doing the things it was more meant to do, but after 6 hours of going through online tutorials, I could still not get it to work properly. I know there may be updates in the future that will allow it to do so, but I returned it as it didn't fit my needs. I am sure it is still a good product for others.

Great product. Lets you view YouTube, Netflix, and personal videos right on your tv without wires or hassles. Great to have in kids rooms if you don't want to pay extra for another cable or satellite box.
