I love this product I find myself using it just as much as my netfliks and I take it wherever I go.

Works great with the apps it that connect to it. One annoying thing is that they need to add a feature to be able to mirror chrome through iphones. Now they can only do that on some droids.

Recently added Chromecast to my media system. Highly recommend you do the same! Easy to use, <5 min installation. Operate from PC, Phone, or Tablet.

For the price, the Chromecast is pretty amazing. Consider the free 3 months of Netflix (even for existing Netflix customers) and this device unbelievably cheap. Build quality was much higher than expected too. With the Chromecast, I can "cast" Netflix from my computer/phone to any screen with an HDMI port, and using Chrome browser, I can "cast" anything opened in Chrome too (including photos/videos stored on my computer). I hope that in the future, this option becomes available for mobile devices too. For the price and what it can do, the Chromecast is a no-brainer for any media junky, and the potential of even more features in the future makes it even better.

I typically use my Note 4 and Tab as a second screen when watching tv. Chromecast makes it so much easier to watch my favs from the net on my tv.

We have used these at our home and that of family. I like that it is portable and easy to sync up with your ipad, phone or whatever. Easy to use.

It is great for families because you can put a movie on for the kids while you are using the tablet or they can be using the tablet while you watch a movie. this is an awesome feature.

From all that I read, the Chrome was something that would fit my needs. I wanted to view the contents of my laptop on my high def TV to watch ESPN3, and also stream movies. However, I was not able to get it installed. In going through the installation, it would always fail indicating that there was a problem with my network or router. My laptop and my Sony Smart Home Theater work fine with the router. I went on-line to the the Chrome website and several other sites to try to determine the problem. None of the sites were of any help. I also looked at all of my router settings. After many hours of research I gave up, and returned the Chrome to the Best Buy store. The customer service department was very cooperative, and processed the return quickly. They recommended that I try the Roku. The Roku installed immediately, and I was up and running within 20 minutes with the same router. I realized that I couldn't connect my laptop top thru Roku, but I didn't need to because it had a free link to ESPN3 installed. About three weeks later, I installed an Amazon Fire Stick to the TV in our bedroom. It also installed, and is working well with no problems. If Chrome would have had some form of detailed support to help me, I'm sure I would have not had to return it.

I enjoy the diverse options available and works great with my TV and computer, although I am not that well versed in tech products, I am 71 years old it made me feel savy in using it.

I got this for my mother so she could use her tablet to watch netflix on the television. She likes it much better than hooking up a laptop to the TV. She has had no problems with it.

This is an easy to use tool that is great for the masses that want to stream with their Google account. The bonus is that there is more to come since they are always developing for it.

Easy to set up, easy to use. Can only cast from youtube and netflix apps on iPad, IPhone, as the Chrome browser plug-in is not available for iOS yet.

Best value for streaming to TV. New Beta installation opens up just about any website. No accounts needed. Also great for enjoying Netflix, Hulu, etc. My smart phone is now my remote!

Movers goid steaming device. It connects right away after the updates and the picture quality is great. Looking to buy another one for the bedroom.

This a wonderful device for those who want access to netflix, youtube. I recommend this to anyone. This is the 2nd one I have purchased. I bought one for my girlfriend and she loves it.

Purchased the chromecast on sale for $25 so the price was right. We have a smart TV with built in apps but was never a fan of entering words into the searches by moving the little arrow keys around to the letter I wanted. Took to long! So much easier to search for content on my phone or tablet then press one button and "boom" it's on the TV. Worked very easily with YouTube, HBOGo, Flixster, and so many more. Definitely worth it.

This product is great for everybody that uses ipad, tablet, smartphones to watch videos. Very easy to setup and use. Can stream netflix amongst other videos directly to tv in seconds.

Very easy to set up and then use. We've had it installed for about a month, and it's been just about flawless. Highly recommend for a modest cost.

Easy set with cool functionality. With more apps this will be amazing. Great how it doesn't play from your phone but your phone turns into a remote.

Love my chrome, I watch everything on my tv from my phone. Should have gotten it sooner. I bought 2 and will gift the other one.
